The GOP is largely stronger now than it was before Trump.

They might have controlled more seats and branches at times, but then they'd yield to dems and sell out their promises.

FYI, I am very much a fiscal conservative....and exactly the demographic the GOP needs and historically has owned. And on the next ballot there are GOP candidates that will receive my vote, I will evaluate the person rather than their party (as I always have). I truly wish the GOP had provided a viable option for my consideration, but that is not the case. Trump is a candidate I would never consider, for all the reasons pretty much every reasonable person can see.
