RB looks deep with both proven production and young players with potential.

OL was a disaster last year and has to be much better for any chance at a winning record this season.

The OL was injured and had little player depth with experience enough to make a difference.

I like the receiver and the running back's room.

But I am not sure about our LBs until they prove themselves in football games this season.

And the O-line might not be a strength just yet, but we will have more quality depth to help out than they had last year... not a weakness, IMHO.

I’m most excited about watching growth of LB’s. With infusion of Graham and Howard, plus addition of Ron Roberts, I can’t wait to see some improvement.

That’s probably correct, but he may not be used much for blocking in the first place.

This is key to our defensive success this season. I hope they become a strength.

Uhh...Zanders has been our starting TE from injuries, so we have had a 5th stringer or worse being our starter in recent history, and CBN uses 2 TE sets a lot. You might pull a better example, like 3rd string QB is irrelevant and will never happen, so forget about evaluating rooms. /s

Alright man, you got it. The key to success is the 5th guy on the depth chart at a position where we're currently lacking proven talent. Cheers to the 5th stringers make ROOMS better across America!

Who knows why I reviewed the FSU game from last year, and I never so badly wanted to never see two players in our roster again as Leonard and Mazzcua. Well, I guess there was always Kimber too. Some experience isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

RB looks solid. Also think DB is in good shape.
OL worries me but, on paper we look light years ahead of last year. We will see.

RB is easily the most reliable IMO. I suspect the biggest spike in performance we will be with DB room. Mainly because of the depth of talent… on paper anyway.

I’m not sold on OL. I’ll have to see it to believe it.

Letting all the time is great if you can be effective. If the line blocks for an extra half a second, it can be disastrous.

Yes, the OL had a tough job, and Brown didn't check them out of bad plays. However on some plays they were like matadors with no knives.

We should have gone with the 5th year senor transfer the SOS liked... hindsight. You know how that goes. That freshman QB went from a potential hero to ZERO in one game flat.

Top receiving TE / H back. This guy needs to split time with Bordingham.

Bordingham has been around three years, te is a tough position to learn. I hope he does pick it up quick and get some good snaps.

Now that camp is wrapping up we should be able to make a more educated guess on the "which room" question.

Most optimistic: I'm changing my pick from RB to WR. Losing Montrell factored into my change but this is more about our WR room looking strong. The WR room is talented and deep.
Honorable mentions: RB and DB rooms

Most concerned: Originally I went with the DL room followed closely by the LB room. I think the DL had a solid camp and it seems we have a really deep group at the edge position. Losing Lyons hurts but we have a few large bodies at DT that could slide to NG if Cam and Dez need a break.
The DL no longer feels like the weakest link.

On the other hand, the OL isn't as talented as I thought in early July (I fell for the spring hype). They are now my biggest concern.
Not so honorable mentions: LB followed by DL.

Hey Roswell, how are the Hornets looking this year?
Buford visits there in 3 weeks.

Believe we are deeper and will be better at DL/LB.

    Concerned about RB and OL.

IMO we are not deep at RB, after Montrell we have Webb and maybe Baugh. The other RBs are big question marks.

We do not know if our OL can play, much less be deep.

DL- 14 listed at Edge, 12 at DL. Staff better find a two deep.

OL- 21 listed OL. Staff better create a two deep that can play together and fill-in if there is an injury. To put that in perspective, when Butters arrived, Muschamp had not recruited or retained enough OL for a Spring game. Staff has 25 and needs 8-10. Hope it happens.

    We're solid.

I coached a bunch of the seniors when they were in feeder ball and know them and their parents really well. They have a few of the pieces (RB committed to Pitt, DE committed to S. Carolina and OG committed to UCF (over Ohio State)...plus about 6-8 others that will play at smaller colleges.

But I know Buford is stacked (again) and will probably win by 2-3 TDs.
