Drone intercepted by fuel storage tank. Hope this is significant. Every wound helps.

There are a few vloggers on YouTube who track this stuff daily. I tend to go with Weeb Union. He's usually spot on and only changes the map if it's been confirmed and geolocated. He will often compare to other sources to make sure he's not overstating things.

Do you not follow any sources like this? That surprises me a lot.

It's too bad the resident military guys revert to obfuscation when things on the ground aren't going their way. I'm just a neutral observer. It's not going to hurt my feelings if Ukraine takes the entire Kursk region. I find all of this stuff fascinating. It's much easier to follow without the bias and blinders.

damn..155 MM cannon that can move at up to 100 km/h and fire while moving..impressive

Ukraine Secures New Artillery: Russia Faces Unprecedented Firepower (msn.com)
Ukraine is poised to enhance its military capabilities with the delivery of the cutting-edge RCH 155 self-propelled artillery system from Germany before the end of 2024.
Accoring to Tech this advanced weaponry, never before used in combat by any military, represents a significant upgrade for Ukraine as it continues to defend against Russian aggression.
    .................
The RCH 155 is a modern marvel in artillery, offering capabilities unmatched by any other system of its kind. One of its standout features is the ability to fire while on the move, a groundbreaking advancement in the world of self-propelled howitzers.

This mobility, combined with its wheeled chassis, distinguishes it from other NATO artillery systems, which typically rely on tracked platforms.

Equipped with a 155mm, 52-caliber gun, the RCH 155 can hold 30 rounds of ammunition and achieve a firing range of up to 40 kilometers with standard munitions, and even further with specialized V-LAP rounds.

firing generals, hiring relatives, and sacking the treasury while oligarchs assets around the world tied up while their assets at home crumble, he must be a little paranoid right now. Of course, it isn't paranoia if they are out to get you

Putin at Risk of Poisoning from 'Gangster Chums': Ex-NATO Colonel (msn.com)

The war in Ukraine is putting Russian President Vladimir Putin at risk of poisoning from his "gangster chums," a former NATO-colonel has said.

Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, a chemical weapons expert and former British Army colonel, suggested that Ukraine's surprise incursion into Russia's Kursk region this month will have made Putin paranoid about his closest allies, and that he's now "on thin ice."

De Bretton-Gordon said that while he believes Putin "does have an iron grip" the fact that "so many people are talking and understanding what is happening, he's got to sort this out very quickly."

"If he doesn't, there'll be lots of his gangster chums who'll quite happily slip something in his tea and take over," he said in an interview with The Sun. "Putin is on thin ice and the temperature is getting hotter."

Slow day for anti-Ukraine news, eh, Lee Harvey? We understand. Drink as much vodka as you need to so you can drown out all the bad news for your side.

Very impressive. But I'm wondering how the ability to fire on the move is significantly better than what western tanks have been doing for years. The Abrams tanks can fire on the move, and it goes 45 mph. I don't think it has a range of 40 km (24 miles)--maybe that is the difference. (A quick search indicates that the Abrams can hit targets up to 2.5 miles away.) Of course, this begs the question: how do you know what you are shooting at 24 miles away? The terrain has to be perfect (or perfectly flat) to see up to 8 miles away from ground level.

Seems that Russia is inoculated against every Western wonderweapon. See: Abrams, Challenger, HIMARS, Patriot, Javelin … where are those F-16’s ?

I have to admit, things are going pretty well for Russia. It's not like they are in any danger of getting the third and final Kursk province bridge blown to kingdom come or anything crazy like that, causing their troops to be cut off and encircled by Ukraine's troops for one of the largest surrenders in the history of warfare since WWII. Looks like the HIMARS inoculation has been wearing off--Russia might need a booster shot, like yesterday.

Ukraine destroys 3rd key bridge, threatening to cut off Russian troops, amid incursion, Russian military bloggers say

    DOH!

Looks like Russia is screwed. Start swimming, boys! Papa Putin will pull you out on the other side!

Even Fox News is talking about this humiliating bridge destruction for Russia. Maybe after Zelenskyy accepts Putin's surrender, he will offer to play cards with his old nemesis, Vlad Putin: "Do you wanna play bridge? I'm gonna call trump and rebid your aces and spaces after I slam you, while you deal with a bath-coup, you dummy." I wonder if President Harris would consider installing Trump as a figurehead overseeing the collapsing nation of Russia, to talk the country through bankruptcy proceedings.

Russia is down to one small pontoon bridge to cross the Seym River. Sadly for them, the pontoon bridge is within range of Ukrainian artillery fire.

Ukraine targets Russian bridges in move against Moscow counteroffensive in Kursk

Also from the article, more explosions on the Trans-Siberian Express. More weapons blown to bits. That's a shame.

I wish that were true, but this war has a long way to go with no end in sight on the current trajectory.

I know this war isn't over or even close. But Ukraine has been punching way above their weight for years with Russia and exposed Russia as a shell of their former selves. Every week Putin pisses this away is hopefully a week closer he gets to having an accident.

drones synced into the control? Fished with some former "operators" in Alaska this year. They wouldn't go into detail but the use of drones and the level of integration into their small teams that they talked about was impressive. thermal imaging of everything around them live while they were moving around. no sneaking up on them without thermal blankets. drones you wouldn't hear 100' above you if they were to be believed. One guy borrowed my drone to scout for bears in the area and even though I can fly pretty good, he was at a different level. This piece of artillery is on wheels which may give it some advantages.
