Point taken. Just imagine how well your candidate might be doing if he was disciplined enough to stay on message, focus on the contrast between his policies and hers, and avoid ad hominem attacks. Just picture it.

I agree with some of that with respect to Clinton. Best to remember that Clinton is not Harris. Middle America does not despise Harris the way many people in the center despised Clinton. Middle America is concerned with how Harris’ left wing policies might impact them, not how execrable of a person she is. Learn that the hard way if you like.

 

I think Democracy probably survives Trump. But why risk it with someone who is so openly hostile to it? I’d say the tail risk of diminishing Democracy is greater under Trump than others. The more likely risk is something Orban like, where democracy becomes in name only as government rides roughshod over the press and opposition.

I don’t want price controls - a stupid policy that isn’t going to happen. I do support more Border security, but Donald Trump sank the border security bill so that talking point of yours has problems.

On the second part, I have no argument since it seems clear to me now that Jake Sullivan was taking advantage of the President’s mental state to isolate him from his other advisors and run his [Sullivan’s] own foreign policy. On the first part, I have no proof, but I doubt your assessment of Sullivan’s estrogen levels. My guess is that it is abnormally high.
