Trump Hires Tulsi Gabbard for Debate Prep

Great idea. Tulsi destroyed Kamala is the 2020 primary debates.

 

Is his preparation going to consist of more than asserting he is better looking than Harris, that she is not black enough, that she is stupid, or that she used to pronounce her name differently? Based on what I’ve seen since Biden dropped out, I’m curious how badly Trump wants to lose this election. And is his purpose to lose just so he can whine about how unfair the election was?

 

He threw away certain re-election four years ago just to be his douchebag self. If he does it again, I'll have all the proof I need that he was in on it. He beat Hillary. There is no way he should have lost to these other two clowns.

 

So what is Tulsi going to do in the debate prep? One of two things, I would guess. Either tell Trump to stop lying with every breath for God's sake, or else tell him to keep doing it because it works. And it will have to be the latter, since telling Trump to stop lying would be like telling the ocean to stop making waves.

I'd pay money to be a fly on the wall in these debate prep meetings.

Tulsi Gabbard did get a zinger against Kamala Harris in the one of the debates in the 2020 Democratic primary campaign by attacking Kamala from the left of course that was before she became a member of the Cult of the Donald. In any event debate prep isn't going to help Trump. He doesn't have the self-discipline to stay on point as evidenced by some of his recent speeches including his acceptance speech at the RNC. He started with a scripted speech and then off on an unhinged rant. maybe it's just me but I don't think a rant about "windmills" killing birds will go over very well when Harris can simply cite data indicating many more birds die from the extraction and burning of fossil fuels and that's just one hypothetical example.

 

To be fair, she was attracted to the weird...because she is weird. She might think that is brilliant.

 

Tulsi Gabbard made a name for herself when she switched from dull blue to bright red. After she split from the Dems, she rarely has anything of substance to add, and when she does, it is usually conspiracy-laced RFK-like nonsense.

Insofar as debate prep is concerned, I'm thinking she is kicking Trump's ass to get him to where he will be in what should be 3 debates with 1 being on Fox News.

Chicken shit Cackling Kamala, like Biden on CNN, has to have moderators she knows will be favorable to her. I'm sure defeat the moderators will be part of debate prep. Biden being so far gone made it impossible for CNN to intervene. ABC and NBC won't make that mistake.

She is far from an independent. She is traveling across the country endorsing a score of MAGA candidates. She pops up in ads all day on my Twitter feed standing side-by-side with MAGA candidates endorsing them. She routinely goes in TV news to advocate for MAGA policies. Like her or not, nobody in good conscience can call such a fierce advocate as “independent”.

MAGA loves the politicians who are very clearly just pandering to stay relevant in politics and take their money by turning full MAGA.

Is there an equivalent the other way of a Republican that's made a hard pivot to the left? Romney, Cheney, and Kinzinger get kudos on the left for standing up to Trump but they've all made clear that they are still conservatives and will continue to vote Republican once Trump is gone.

 

1. my “woketard party” is a silly insult, since I’m an Independent. I’ve said this before, it gives me luxury of loathing both of our current 2 party system.

2. Tulsi is on record fully supporting MAGA. She made no secret that she wanted to be Trump’s VP running mate, she makes regular trips to Mar A Lago and routinely speaks out in favor of Trump and rails against the Democrats (who rejected her).

You can like her, or loath her, or think nothing of her. But you can’t intelligently call her an “independent”.
