Prediction >>> Right-wing provocateurs will show up at the Democratic National Convention next week to try to start a riot. That's what they did at the mostly peaceful BLM protests.

They may pretend to be Biden supporters who oppose Harris, Hamas supporters or some other angry group. Their only point will be to disrupt the Convention. That's what these extremists do.

Wouldn't surprise me, they would love to create a redux of the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago which contributed to Nixon's victory that November. Probably will not work.

I’d be more concerned about the pro Hamas protesters.

Whatever the provocation, the right-wingers will try to escalate tensions and provoke violence.

If they do, they will be small in size or false groups. The pro-Palestinians will be there in full force.

They are already there. Shop owners near arena having to board up because of all the violent, radical liberals in the area. Will be interesting to see how Harris, who is no friend of Israel, responds to them.

No, sparky, not because of the scary liberals. That's the model lately. Downtown Tampa looked like a war zone when it hosted the 2012 Republican National Convention....fences, temporary walls, razor wire. Think prison camp.

One nude club, 2001 Odyssey Tampa, even had to erect limo sized tents and fences in its parking lot so the poor family values conventioneers could go relieve their tension in total anonymity. Tent flaps would be opened so those poor, stressed Republicans could drive in. The flaps were closed so they could exit their cars and enter the club. Reverse the procedure when, newly refreshed, it was time to go back to the party's business. No word if they got discounts for going up to the flying saucer.

This is exactly the case. When the Hamas protesters show up to violently disrupt the convention, I don’t want to hear how it was secretly a bunch of “white supremacists.”

Thanks for at least calling them pro-Palestinians instead of “pro-Hamas” like simple binary minded nitwits who are incapable of nuanced thinking like to do.

Pathetic that people can’t express anger at Israel’s government for killing 30,000 Palestinians without being labeled “Hamas supporters.”

Not unlike when anti-Trump anti-Dem people are labeled Pro-facist, anti women. Does that irk you as much?

If I didn’t vote for the woman hating fascist Donald Trump that wouldn’t bother me one little bit. And if you didn’t vote for Trump I’d expect you to feel the same.

Please. It's Chicago. What could possibly go wrong?

Actually, I lived there. It is a world class city. One of the best.

Ah, yes, because we were so nuanced during WW2, distinguishing between those Americans who were pro-Nazi and those who were merely pro-German.
