The Press is objective. The Press is fair. The fact that over 85% of reporters are registered Democrats does not reflect how they do their job.

Judging by the last two threads he has started, media literacy is an insurmountable challenge. I did try to help.

That being said, judging an entire industry based on one person's actions is just dumb. Just because one reporter allegedly crossed a line doesn't mean all journalists are biased or unethical. Blaming the press as a whole based on political affiliations is a lazy oversimplification. Most professionals are capable of doing their jobs without letting personal beliefs dictate their work. There is no need to smear a whole profession because you're angry and afraid.

The press is objective. The press is fair. 85% of the reporters are brighter and more educated than MAGA Nation. That certainly affects how MAGA perceives they do their jobs.

I'm curious. Under what precept is the media supposed to be objective?

Having started this thread, OP is off on his way to get impartial news from the media source that had to pay $1 billion for knowingly printing defamatory misinformation.

Then he'll get some *facts* from the guy who was tallied to have told 15,000* lies during 4 years as POTUS.

    * Estimated. What's the exact # again?

“So much for Objective Journalism. Don't bother to look for it here--not under any byline of mine; or anyone else I can think of. With the possible exception of things like box scores, race results, and stock market tabulations, there is no such thing as Objective Journalism. The phrase itself is a pompous contradiction in terms.”

It was a single rogue reporter who was responsible for the leak and while I have some other problems with the NY Times what she did is in no way reflective of the newspaper unlike the Rupert Murdoch owned NY Post which was the source of the "expose" of the Times and promotes an ideological agenda not unlike the other Murdoch owned media property Fox News. By the way has the Times had to settle a defamation lawsuit for close to $1 billion like Fox News?

Candy Crowley correcting (incorrectly) Romney during debate w/ Obama/CNN
CNN "reporter" providing the questions in advance of the debate to Hillary Clinton.
Certainly this is a "rogue" reporter from the NYTimes and cannot be used to look at the source.

They may be brighter; and, yes, they are probably more well "educated."
This is no way means they are wise and have something worthwhile to say.

This 'rogue' reporter is a human. You are human. Therefore, by your logic, you and everyone else is, by proxy, un-objective and unethical. It sounds more silly the more you extrapolate such logic.

Stereotyping is dangerous (and lazy). When a group is labeled based on the actions of one individual, it fosters division, fuels prejudice and derails constructive discussion. I guess that could be your goal although I think you may be rage posting.

You must be a farmer because you have more straw in the response than I've seen in any barn.
sure, to extrapolate your logic: in the end we're all dead. 'nuff said.

    The story doesn't say that.

And otherwise, are you really trying to claim that New York Times is anti-Israel?

This part highlighted below really makes me laugh, the stupidity involved on the part of the journalist that leaked personal information to "someone" and then tried to mitigate her actions and deflected blame... because that someone disseminated that info to the world without her permission? No one is that naive...

Doxxing should be a crime already.

This was done without the knowledge or approval of the Times.”

Frost told the Journal that she shared the information with one person who then disseminated the details without her permission.

“Its subsequent dissemination and misuse happened entirely without my knowledge or consent,” Frost said. “I was shocked by these events, which put me and many others at terrible risk.”
