Not worthy of a response? So, another deflection. I am guessing you are all over the Walz thread disparaging his service but trumps constant belittling of service men and women is fine with you. There's a reason Trump lost the military vote. Quit pretending you care about the military, you're just another party over country guy.
And as a member of Congress he strongly criticized the government of China. Tim Walz’s Long Relationship With China Defies Easy Stereotypes Mr. Walz’s record in the House, from 2007 to 2019, showed a lawmaker who often drew on his personal experience in the country to lay out sharp critiques of China’s human rights record. He took a special interest in Tibet and Hong Kong, meeting with both the Dalai Lama and Joshua Wong, a prominent Hong Kong pro-democracy activist. As a congressman, Mr. Walz did not shy away from talking about his experience in China. But he was also critical of the Chinese government from the start. And over his 12-year tenure in the House, Mr. Walz’s criticisms of China’s human rights record became even sharper, especially as the Chinese government took a more authoritarian turn under Xi Jinping. As far as the accusations of stolen valor are concerned the term has been intentionally and deceptively used with respect to Tim Walz. The term has a very specific meaning. It refers to individuals who have claimed that they were awarded medals for valor in combat such as the silver star or the bronze star that they were never awarded or earned. Tim Walz never made any such claim.
They shouldn't. People who lie about actual reality, or support an organization that actively gaslights and lies about actual reality.......do not deserve conversation or debate in good faith.
You just posted: "The Dems are just hoping to get them (US military personnel) killed for their personal Ukrainian money laundering machine." Everyone is used to the crap you post, the ridiculous conspiracy theories, labeling all who disagree with you communists, intentionally misrepresenting the contents of articles and on and on. This statement, however, is so offensive and it simply wreaks of ignorance. Shame on you for thinking that, shame on you for posting it. You've managed to hit a new low which is quite the accomplishment.
Honestly, you're the only righty that showed up. So, kudos to you sir. Both sides have awful candidates. My dad was a marine and damn proud of it. He hated(RIP) Cpt Bonespurs as he would call him. Please, refrain from involving anyone else but Trump here. Do you think...taking out all politics...that his statements were proper from a CIC? It's a yes or no question and has nothing to do with anyone else. Yes or no? Edit for CONTEXT: ""It's actually much better because everyone gets the Congressional Medal of Honor, they're soldiers. They're either in very bad shape because they've been hit so many times by bullets or they are dead. She gets it and she's a healthy, beautiful woman. And they're rated equal, but she got the Presidential Medal of Freedom." -Trump The above statement? Is that remotely proper from any CIC? Ever? Yes or no?
They're allowed to do or say anything because everything is....NOT FAIR. That's the message of Trump. Victimhood. At this point the problem is not just the brainwashed cult members or the long-obvious shameless criminal leading them..... it's the enablers. The Republican Party. How could a single elected official just stand by and tolerate the criminality and indecency brought upon their party? And how could people cast a vote for ANYONE who did so?
I would like to hear your thoughts on what Trump said, since you were so vocal about the Vance allegations against Walz. If respect to the military by public servants is such an important issue to you, surely you would have an opinion on such a big news story.
Does Donald Trump saying something extremely stupid and offensive have any impact on what Walz did 20 years ago? If so, please explain how. I stand by my comments and the ones by @VAg8r1, Walz service record will only really matter to a small part of the veteran community. The same part that Trump likely incensed with those comments.
I know the orange man is somewhat wealthy, but what makes you so sure he has small towers on the corners of castle walls?
"In fact, the highest obligation and privilege of citizenship is that of bearing arms for one's country." Gen. George S. Patton Enough said.
For some reason when read your post I immediately envisioned you being Don Quixote titling at windmills. What’s the point? That poster is so far gone no amount of logic will be productive.
I’m just curious why you weren’t attacking it with the same vigor as you attacked Walz’s decision to run for Congress. Surely, Trumps characterization of our most esteemed military honor touches upon the same nerves.
