My post was all about the Miami dislike... I will not get into the other minutia about employees and such from that business. I really only care about winning the recruiting war against that team... annually. And I want to steal all the best players we can get, especially the South Florida recruits. Here's to that beat-down that Miami deserves, and shall receive, in Gainesville.
Sure, I'm with you, you caught a wiff of empathy........ Honestly, every Miami game I have ever attended, I have noted Miami fans, what few they have, are the rudest, most ill behaved fans I have ever seen. And I have been to road LSU and FSU games. I sat on the UGA side (to get a ticket) in Jax. None of those experiences compare to the assinine behavior I have seen from Miami fans.
I just hope our team abuses that sorry team... and by extension their fan's experiences in The Swamp. You're not alone... Miami fans are like thugs that got loose from the local prison.
In case you forgot about our 2024 football schedule... here is the last 5 games to remind you of what we face. Let the bodies hit the floor... let the bodies hit the floor... Lol...
It is an interesting (terrifying) projection, but you can't really compare apples to oranges and all those other schedules calculations were after the fact and ours is projected. As we know rankings are dynamic so we'll see where each of our final 5 opponents stack up when game time comes around.
Agree, sort of, but the teams we play are all in the SEC, which are more likely to be worthy of their rankings now, and at the end of the year than those other lists were. Besides that, I'm not sure those listed ranking were not all preseason rankings to begin with, right? I mean, the apples to oranges are if these are not all preseason rankings. We don't know that those other listed rankings were ranking from the end of the season... because that would be different, and we'd have to wait and see how we fair at season's end.
My guess is that the compilation was done either post-season or at game time. I guess someone could have looked up what preseason rankings were, but I doubt too many ppl would make a big deal about having to play a pre-season ranked team that came into actual game day un-ranked and perhaps with a losing record. I'm just speculating of course.
Yes, I would assume so, too. But... be honest... do you really care about what "many ppl" think? Lol... nah... Neither do I.
Gotta beat FSU and then one of LSU/Ole Miss. That would be 2 wins against those 5. It would also mean a winning season assuming we're 5-2 going into that stretch. It would also mean we don't end the season on a losing streak like we've done for the past 2 years. It will be HUGE! Go Gators!!!
A good season has us winning all our home games. Not an easy task, but if we can accomplish that... with the MSU game in Starkville? And yes, beating FSU in their home place would be icing on the proverbial cake.
