Yeah, that's a little weak though. I only want to hear from people who the movie Taken has happened too. If you didnt murder 100 people to save your daughter from Middle Eastern sex slavery, you are no expert in my book.

imagine a world where Iran would supply Gazans with massive funds based on the agreement they would not send them any weapons. Iran could take credit for building up Gaza. Ports. Infrastructure. Open Water treatment facilities….on and on. Yeah you can’t because it would never happen. Meanwhile about 50 miles away Tel Aviv looks like south beach compared to that shitstain Marxist/ Islamist nirvana known as Gaza.

Whatever the case your argument is akin to saying Puerto Rico is a shithole compared to Florida

IMO there's much worthy of consideration in this post.

And yet Israel takes an approach which includes the slaughter of 10s of thousands of civilians....

we don’t have to say Akin to any argument. What my point was and is explicitly that modern day Gaza is the intersection(yes I parked to type ) of Marxism and Islamists in textbook definition of both. While unfortunate for the civilians caught in the middle, the time to speak for them was the last number of years when Hamas was busy using 95% of incoming funds( world aid ) on weapons and tunnels and not infrastructure and ports and modernization of that shitbox so that other investment comes in and clean it up. It’s easy to say you support the civilians now.

Israel claims Gaza as its territory. Its stupid to ask questions as to why Iran doesnt build it up (because Israel would have to release its claim for that to happen), and to the extent that you find it a shithole, well that's largely how Israel wants it. Similarly to how we dont give Puerto Rico autonomy, but allow it some sort of quasi-self governance restrained by whatever requirements we want to foist on them. At least unlike Israel we havent been actively blockading them for years! Shit PR nationalists even did a terrorist bombing campaign in America and we never did that.

No, Israel does NOT claim Gaza. Israel left Gaza in 2005. Gaza had a civil war until Hamas won in 2007. From there, Hamas repeatedly struck into Israel, leaving Israel to blockade arms. Here’s a quick and easy review with a timeline.

Go and ask them. Israel does not claim Gaza and has not claimed Gaza since 2005. The UN claims that Israel should claim it, but Israel does not. Gaza has been controlled by two Bazan governments since 2005. Gaza controls its own governance, they are self governing. They choose to use all of the money and aide sent to them to buy weapons and wage war, either with Israel or with their own people who might oppose them.

On October 7, Gaza invaded Israel.

I just cited the same source you did, it seems like its under de facto occupation to me, despite what Israel says.

No. It’s under Hamas-controlled government. Israel left Gaza. The UN for some reason doesn’t like that Israel left Gaza, to be governed by Gazans, but Israel has made no bones about it—it does not claim Gaza.

This is laughably wrong and incredibly misguided. Israel does not want Gaza. Israel is at war with Gaza because Gaza invaded on October 7, and murdered, maimed, raped, pillaged, and tortured Israelis, and then kidnapped hundreds of Israelis (and Americans). Hamas crossed a line with its terror, and Israel has gone to war to put an end of Hamas. Whether that goal is viable is certainly one for debate, as demonstrated by these boards.

What is not up for a rational debate is the absurdity of your claim that Israel is at war to land—land that Israel already had occupied for decades, but left almost 20 years ago.

Oh, let’s not forget—well, at least let’s not those who are forget—The hostages have not yet been returned.

What are they going to do after the war? (Assuming it ever ends) Install a puppet government? Let them do whatever they want? Let Iran rebuild Gaza? Get real dude. There is no going back to the status quo prior to the war. The place is in rubble and close to uninhabitable now. If Israel rebuilds it, they are doing it on their terms, and what do you suppose they will be? Are they going to end their blockade and let other people come in to do it? Let a Palestinian government be autonomous and seek foreign assistance? Or will the government that impowers and arms settlers send them in there too? If it wasnt such a terrible tragedy, I would look forward to telling you how wrong you will look in the future.
