So she has a physical advantage over her fellow biological females. Her record must be undefeated, right? No, it's not?

Is it also unfair that Steph Curry doesn't get to play center because guys like Anthony Davis have the unfair advantage of being much taller than him? Or that Anthony Davis can't play guard because he's too big to chase Curry around the perimeter all game?

News flash: Sports aren't fair and biological advantages are part of it.

So I just need right wing posters here to tell me what makes someone a woman. Because for years you screamed it was what body parts you are born with and nothing else matters. You can't change it. Now you're telling me the body parts don't matter and it's chromosomes. And then some of you are telling me it's just an eyeball test.

I'm not sure how you expect us to have a realistic conversation with you about this when you can't decide.

No idea when they tested her. She took MULTIPLE tests that both showed she has XY chromosomes. Simple as that. You keep trying to move goalposts now. Funny to see.

IBA appeals cost over $40,000. These women have that?

Also, why did the IBA only perform blood tests on 4 out of the hundreds of boxers that fought at the 2022 World Championships.

There's hope for MAGA as Trump plank 17 should expand DNA testing across all of women's sports.

Confusion of categories. You’re confusing male vs. female, which is clear cut, with variations of size among males. BTW, 700 males could beat Serena Williams in tennis.

Other stories have said the IBA refused to release any details about the tests. Why did this guy get them but not the IOC?

I have no idea on these two athletes. Wasn’t the org that banned them discredited? But, ironic they both won gold.

To the point they lost before, not sure what that proves. Were they training less or not in prime shape then? And agree biological differences give an advantage, which is accepted. But men and women shouldn’t compete together. The goal of this is not to harass trans athletes but to give women a fair playing field.

Actually, I thought that’s what the libbies have been saying?
And see where it leads us?
This is madness that was avoidable and it doing real harm.
From bathroom confusion to “what is a woman”…the libbies descent into madness is hard to believe.
    Own it libbies.

As an older male who probably has no business entering the realm of international sports, the IOC nonetheless gives me hope, this based on two facts:

    (1) passports don’t lie

    (2) passports can be changed

So what makes a woman? Genitalia born with or chromosomes? Y'all are the ones who've been telling us you can define what a woman is

Simple. XX chromosomes are women, men are XY. Why is this so hard for some people to understand?

    Y chromosome: MedlinePlus Genetics.

Cool, I'm absolutely fine with that. So what are XXY, XYY, XXYY, and XYY?

And feel free to tell the "born with a vagina" folks that doesn't matter. Cause that's all we've heard on this board for years.

It's amazing how one person has the ability to be not only the top epidemiologists but also a top geneticist without even studying these fields.

Not applicable to the situation. Boxer in question was tested twice and both tests showed XY chromosomes. Man. Case closed.
