It's not easy but all armies have specialist forces.
Just because it's easier to kill everyone, inclusive of civilians (instead of putting your own resources at risk), doesn't make it right.

How would you define “precise”. From everything I’ve read they are using missiles with seekers and LGBs.

93 people were killed. They need to stop the air strikes. This is not acceptable.

Terror in that part of the world will never end. It doesn’t matter whatsoever what Americans think or do about it. This will go on till God returns.

If they targeted a school with Hamas identified as being in there and they hit the school, I’d call that precise.

This would likely end up with dead Israeli foot soldiers. How many Israeli troops should they sacrifice to save “ innocent” Gazans?

How about 1 for 1? Unless for some reason you place a higher value on an Israeli soldier’s life than a Palestinian child.

They likely have no idea who the victims are. They just give a medical perspective.

I've wondered this too. What has hamas done to warrant trust? They are terrorists that vow to wipe Israel from planet earth. Color me skeptical.

I see your point Limey, but would also counter it.

It could also be said that not voting for your own side is an important act of freedom that will guide your side back to reason.

A non vote isn't always apathetic. It can be quite strategic actually

how do we evaluate it? 93-0?

Like I said upthread - it was abhorrent when the US did the same in Iraq & Afghanistan. So Israel isn’t different.

I think in some ways yes.
If its the 1 marine who grew up next door to you, you might be ok with 93-0.

It's perspective. Big picture, no one wants 93-0, but when it hits home, we all do.

Interesting thread. Not one poster has any of the actual. Facts. Hamas has been forced out of their tunnels and are now in schools, mosques and hospitals. In this case, Israel uses precision munitions to target a Hamas meeting. They hit the meeting leaving most of the structure intact. And they specifically identified by name the 19 Hamas operatives who were killed. https://www.timesofisrael.com/israe...ms-at-least-90-dead-in-strike-on-gaza-school/So the Intel was good and the strike precise. But, again, posters just quote the false Hamas casualty figures. When you see the Gaza Health Ministey, that’s Hamas. Whose casualty figures have been discredited multiple times. That’s why I stoped posturing here. People just lock into a position and ignore facts based on their preexisting viewpoints. The thread title is false

Now that’s nonsense and you know it. Do you think that the source of that article is going to be telling the truth about who those 93 were. They could. All be Hamas for all we know.

I hope that you meant “multiple” as in dozens, not as in a handful.

BTW; good to hear from you!

    Many of
The same people who complain about Trump falsehoods repeat Hamas nonsense like it is true. The new media quotes the figures and reports where the figures came from— “according to the Gaza Health ministry.” Then they don’t bother to look any deeper. One poster even did Israel has bad intel on this strike. That poster certainly Made no effort to actually identify is that was true or not. The intro must have been pretty good if they can name who was there. They complain about Trump being a useful idiot for the Russians and then they accept Hamas’ word even though Hamas uses claims of the deaths of civilians that hide behind as a propaganda weapon. The Center for Near East Studies and AP analyzed Hamas’ claims of deaths and found them to be false. Studies have also debunked the claims of mass starvation. What do you think the US would have done if they found 19 Al Queda terrorists hiding in a school? Let them go?

Did anyone die that was not Hamas?

If that's the criteria then Israel will have to just lie down and let Hamas destroy them.

Sadly that can't be the criteria. Hamas will kill Jews without reservation. So if Hamas chooses to hide among civilians, this will be a consequence. Sad but true.

I’m not saying that’s the criteria. I’m asking how many innocents were killed. Whenever Israel does something like this one of their playbook moves is to cast doubt on the body count because that information comes from Hamas. Are we in agreement that Israel carried out a strike and many innocents were killed? Whether it was actually 57 or 42 or 79 or 38 and not 93 is simply deflecting from the point that many innocents died.
