He mandated tampons in boys restrooms in middle schools throughout Minnesota? I must admit I glossed over this one, because I thought it might be hyperbole, but it appears Walz really did mandate tampons in the boys restrooms in Minnesota schools. You can’t make it up…

Shouldn’t there be a link? From what I read, the law requires tampons in restrooms used by menstruating students…. Looks like you did make this up.

Actually, you did. Well, you didn't, you just repeated what someone else said. But it's not true.

This board has lost all sense of objectivity in pursuit of partisan theatrics. And in their effort to primarily fight culture wars while having absolutely no real plans or platform for the country, MAGA Republicans continue to be devoid of context in pursuit of headlines.

Have to provide links for non-believers that this is the law of Minnesota, not that it matters to them. Somehow this will be Trump's fault. (chuckle) This is for you rivergator:

Did Tim Walz sign legislation requiring female hygiene products to be installed in boys' bathrooms? (msn.com)

Did Tim Walz sign legislation requiring female hygiene products to be installed in boys' bathrooms?

Yes. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz in May 2023 signed legislation requiring public schools to provide free menstrual products in all restrooms used by students in grades 4-12.

This article actually has a picture of Tampon Tim Walz signing the law:

Walz signs bill requiring schools to stock period products in boys' bathrooms - Alpha News

Schools districts and charter schools in Minnesota will be required to stock period products in school bathrooms for free use, including in boys’ bathrooms.

At the end of May, Gov. Tim Walz signed into law an education finance bill which includes requirements for schools to provide menstrual products at no charge starting in January 2024.

The bill’s language states that “the products must be available to all menstruating students” in grades four through 12. Each school district must develop a plan to stock pads and tampons in bathrooms “regularly used” by female and male students.

The discussion has been in the Legislature since January, with Republicans aiming to change the language of the bill to require menstrual products for female students only. But the bill’s sponsor, Rep. Sandra Feist, DFL-New Brighton, urged legislators to reject such amendments.

The bill Walz signed into law:

    HF 2497 5th Engrossment - 93rd Legislature (2023 - 2024) (mn.gov)

Good Gollie Ms. Mollie, we have such wonderful things to look forward to out of Tampon Tim.

What part of “the products must be available to all menstruating students” confusing ET and Okee?

The bill didn’t require tampons in male restrooms, and left it up to school districts to decide for themselves how to make it work for trans male students if they had any.

What part of including boy's bathrooms do you not understand? It is a fact Tampon Tim signed the bill as written that requires Tampons or related products be installed for free in boy's bathrooms. My post #13 gives you all you all of the information, including the law itself.

Quote the part of the actual bill that says Tampon dispensers are required in male restrooms, not some link where someone else is telling you what it says…. It’s just a straight up lie you are spreading.

“A school district or charter school must provide students with access to menstrual products
at no charge. The products must be available to all menstruating students in restrooms
regularly used by students in grades 4 to 12 according to a plan developed by the school
district. For purposes of this section, "menstrual products" means pads, tampons, or other
similar products used in connection with the menstrual cycle.”

Hmmm… nothing about male restrooms…. You are either willfully lying or a grade A sucker…. Which is it?

You’ve been duped again. Walz supported and signed a bill that ensured all students that menstruate should have free access to menstruation products. I’m sure dozens of dollars have gone into supplying males with tampons.

Gov. Tim Walz made tampons free in Minnesota schools. Here's why it's drawing Trump's ire.

The Minnesota law, however, doesn't specify in which bathrooms the menstrual supplies must be located; instead, it requires school districts to develop plans to ensure all students who menstruate can access free tampons and pads, Lacey Gero, director of government relations at the advocacy group Alliance for Period Supplies, told CBS MoneyWatch.
