Wemby shouldn't be crying over the loss. He played well.

That last 3 was unbelievable. As a Warriors fan, hopefully we can put together a team that can win again around him. Great player and a better person. Hopefully he finishes his career on a high with the Dubs!

That *might* have tied the gold medal count between US and China.

Edit ... no, it was already in the total I was looking at. It's China +1.

France is a long, lengthy, feisty team, they defend passing lanes well. Thankfully, in the end the superior team came out on top.

I watched a little. The guys were amazing. Looking like gymnasts on the pommel horse at times. There is a lady break dancer from Australia, who has a PhD in break dancing, going viral ... probably for the wrong reasons.

I always figured I know a pretty good bit about music, but the admiration for the work of DJs has always baffled me. ... Now, get off my lawn.

You are correct. Stepped away and thought they shared the gold. Incredible to me a guy 6' plus can high jump over 7'.

the appeal was 4 seconds late so they are stripping her of her medal because the judges errored and it was pointed out to them within 60 seconds. that is f'd up

Paris Olympics sparks outrage as Team USA stripped of medal (msn.com)

Chiles initially finished fifth in the event with a score of 13.666, but her score was bumped up by 0.1 following an inquiry from her coach that exposed a scoring error regarding one of her jumps, which had been given a lower difficulty grade by mistake. The new score gave her the bronze medal over Romania’s Ana Barbosu, who had already been celebrating her apparent bronze medal victory.

However, following an appeal from Romania, the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled that the inquiry from the United States was “untimely,” as it came four seconds after the limit of one minute to submit an inquiry. So on that technicality, Chiles will have her medal stripped and given to Barbosu, even though her score was technically higher.

Why bother getting the score right, when ya can lean on a technicality ensuring that the wrong score is awarded? Makes sense

From what I understand, the Romanian girl should have won bronze anyway, since they deducted her for an out of bounds that replay clearly shows wasn’t out of bounds. But her appeal was also denied. What a shit show. Let ChatGPT be the judge next time.
