That’s absurd. There is not a single place where I have written that I believe the couch story. There’s not a single place where I’ve written that my vote is in any way even dependent upon who has been named the VP. My vote was secured the moment you people decided Trump would he your choice to represent the Republican Party. You people made the”brilliant strategic” choice to prop up Trump as the guy that represents your values. L. O. L.
I tend to agree that this will not have that much effect on the campaign. First, Walz is the bottom of the ticket and we are only discussing this now since he is so new. The conversation will likely move to something else next week. Second, this is a very complex issue as it deals with the Byzantine rules of the DoD reserve system that even the active duty have issues understanding. If it is hard to explain to people that do this for a living, it is hard to explain to a causal voter. Third, even if that paid letter is correct and Walz did duck a deployment, it really only negates the military service part of his biography and would likely only hurt him/Harris with the veterans community.
Considering the candidate at the top of the Republican ticket I don't think Walz's retirement from the National Guard will really hurt him among veterans that are otherwise inclined to vote for the Harris/Walz ticket. Nah, just not interested in a far left politician who had the dubious distinction of being named the most liberal Senator in 2019.
He still couldn't think of one good thing to say about Kamala's policies, and he failed to mention any of her achievements.
I would disagree. A CSM ducking out of a combat deployment is really, really bad (if that is what happened). I'm actually having a hard time coming up with a way to explain it. It's just a WTF moment for the entire Battalion. And seeing as Walz had not done a combat deployment previously, it would be a very bad look. If the Harris Campaign was hoping this would help with persuading some voters in the veteran community, it probably will not. BTW, I'm a bystander on this one as I do not plan to vote for either ticket. I only posted about this since it deals with obscure details with the reserves that very few people understand.
Kamala is probably ripping her staff to shreds right about now about all of this, after they all tried warning her last weekend to not pick Walz.
LOL! Trump didn’t have a battalion. He was dodging STDs - his personal Vietnam. An actual quote from that piece of shit.
Exactly. Walz served for 24 years and was honorably discharged. How long did Cadet Bone Spursv serve?
