Been here 20 years & the variance still blows my mind. Labor day weekend 2020. It was in the 90s sat & sun with ash raining down. It dropped 70 degrees & I shoveled a ft. of snow on Labor day...& then it got hot again & prob didn't snow again until late oct or nov.

https://www.denver7.com/news/local-...rp weather shift came,by 40,000 acres on Sept.

I love the varied weather on the Front Range. Been here 22 yrs. I've seen it snow on Mother's Day and 80's in December.

When archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated riding through Sarajevo, setting in motion World War I, the license plate on the car was A111118.

World War I ended on 11/11/18.

A common but false misconception. WW1 ended on 1/10/1920.

Wonder how many times I've watched those highlights over the years? Not to mention "Green's behind the defense!"

I've told this story here before, but this thread seems a good spot again. I was 17 and my then girlfriend and I had driven from Port Charlotte up to Venice for dinner and hang out at Venice Beach. Heading home we cruised down Venice Ave and came up on a Corvette with a plate that said OU812. We rolled up beside it and kept staring and wondering who it might be. Just before the light changed the tinted window rolled about half way down and the reddish blond curly head still wearing sunglasses nodded at us as if to say, "yep it's me". The light turned green and he floored it, leaving us stunned and sitting at the light.

    And it's true. He can't drive 55
