For real, excited about the room, looking forward to whom emerges as second to Johnson in the Cane game!
Home page.... ..... Baugh was moving very well for a 237-pound running back, displaying quick lateral movement and acceleration through running lanes. “Seeing his first couple of days at practice, I knew he was going to make some shaking, and he most definitely showcased it off today in the spring game,” WR Eugene Wilson said on Baugh. Since then, Baugh has dropped 10 pounds and is in line for a larger role during Johnson’s absence. Baugh’s early playing time will depend on his understanding of the playbook and the assignments that come with pass protection.
He is running away from defenders in all of his highlights. In addition to his speed ... he has WR hands, the lateral movement of little guy, is 238 lbs and has a fantastic stiff arm. If he can pick up a LB blitz, we'll see a lot of him this year. I must add that losing Montrell is a big loss. This is his fourth season in this offense, he is reliable, durable and apparently a great teammate.
Now now, sometimes they have Fruit Loops and Frosted Flakes out of that dispenser that does one of three things, doesn't dispense any, dispenses too much or crushes your flakes into a fine powder.
Probably will be RB2 there. He didn't leave for the playing time. Left for money first and win a championship second.
He shows some serious speed/mojo in his highlights. I know the 14 YPC avg. won't translate intact to the SEC, but I can't help but be excited by the possibilities of having a back that big, that fast and that agile in the backfield. But again, how on God's green Earth did this guy rate as a three star in HS, I mean really? If the blocking part comes around, he may be a dude in the very near future.
If he can block and doesn't fumble we may not be able to take him off the field. It'll take a phenom to take Johnson's job though. Jackson looks to have the quickest feet of all in clips I've seen.
