And, by and large, doesn’t vote Dem in Minnesota anymore. I guess some aspect of that is kind of chicken or egg (did they stop voting Dem because DFL got too liberal, or was DFL free to get more liberal because it could control state politics without their votes), but farm workers and rural voters aren’t a meaningful part of the DFL coalition anymore and haven’t been for a while.
