Harris is married to a Jewish guy and is anti semitic? Walz coached Mankato West high school to their first state Championship in football. That should tell this board all they need to know

Walz is the only one of the 4 people running in this election that passes the "I'd like to have a beer with them" test, IMO. That will play well in the midwest, IMO. (Even if he doesn't drink lol)

Does this mean you are no longer voting for Harris?

Walz fits the bill of what a Presidential candidate is looking for in a VP. One, is relatability. Walz is former military and a former football coach. Guys are going to look at that and think Walz is someone they can have a beer with while watching the NFL. It shouldn't be that important, but it is. W. Bush epitomized this likability aspect, and personally, while politically, I wasn't a fan of W., I'd still love to have a beer and watch a game with him.

VP pick is also supposed to be the POTUS candidate's attack dog. Kelly isn't the attack type. Shapiro, as a Jew, can be vulnerable if/when he attacks, especially with his stance with Israel/Hamas. Again, shouldn't be this way, but it is. Walz, on the other hand, has already landed a few body shots with his "weird" attacks, and Harris and let Walz loose on this line. And a normal, football loving former military guy calling Trump/Vance weird will play well for many of the moderates in Middle America, where this election will likely we won/lost.

And that's why Harris chose Walz.

Sure go ahead and believe that if it makes you feel better. Or you can come into the real world of politics and understanding the first choice was not allowed to be chosen. You probably believe Biden dropped out from the race out of the goodness of his heart. LOL

Contact a voter from the 1980s and tell them the 2024 presidential tickets are...

A convicted felon Russian stooge that wears orange bronzer on his face and a hedge fund guy who wears eyeliner and...

a prosecutor turned state AG VP and a master sergeant, football coach governor.

Then ask that voter to pick which belongs to which party.

Lol... That's the perfect partner for Harris... from Build Back Better to Burn it down and Bail them out.

He let the thugs burn down Minneapolis, and she bailed out the criminals doing it. A perfect running mate.

    Harris/Walz -
Burn it down and bail them out!

Isnt this formulation a kind of 'tribalism?' A vague, dangerous "some" or other threatening the body politic? Also, I take issue with the idea that "most" have fought for minority rights, far from it lol. Most people don't do shit one way or the other.

And do you have any evidence that Shapiro was the first choice? Anyone have any evidence? By everything I've seen, it was down to three with Walz, Shapiro, and Kelly. Kelly and Walz have similar military backgrounds, but Shapiro does not. Shapiro is also another lawyer, and while he speaks well, doesn't have the same catch a game likability factor that both Kelly and Walz have. And being Jewish and perhaps a little too pro-Israel is a also a factor, especially in Michigan, with the larger Muslim voting population. It was a factor.

Add it all up, and Walz is a logical choice. He's a better choice than both Shapiro and Kelly. Your whining that it should have been Shapiro only confirms it.

I dont think your argument that we need to put the guy back in power who let things get out of hand in 2020 is very compelling
