I think Wayne Wambles is still looking for work. I bet he has some sweet Joe Redner skeletons in his closet.
Good choice. He should help the Democratic ticket among while blue collar males. Although Trump would still have a lock on that demographic Walz's presence on the ticket could significantly cut into Trump's margin. Walz is a veteran, he's former teacher and high school football coach who led his team to Minnesota State Championship, and he's a hunter who was actually endorsed by the NRA when he ran for the House. Walz also has far more qualified than Vance. In addition to executive experience has governor he also served six terms in the House and was rated as the seventh most bipartisan member.
Harris is the moderate, lol. She is not very progressive or liberal at all. Walz was the only choice that made sense, otherwise she risked alienating the young voters and working class.
Ughhh. Harris is not perceived as a moderate, and as I have said before, her challenge is to convince the independents and moderates that she is “bipartisan-worthy”. She doesn’t need the challenge of Waltz pulling the ticket further left (they already have those votes), she needs someone to pull the ticket to the right (and get the swing vote). As the only ticket my eyes will see on the ballot is Harris-Waltz, go team!
Yesterday, I listened to Ezra Klein’s recent podcast with him. There are pluses and minuses with everybody, but I like that he speaks like normal people.
I was responding to someone making a joke about he doesn’t drink. There’s a good reason (I’m not being judgmental at all about it)
This just tells you how stupid this is. Just being black makes her more radical and liberal to some people, the VP being a normie white guy makes him moderate to some people. I hope everyone figures out now that "moderate" is all about vibes and personality, not policy.
