Hoping this is true. Walz would be a grand slam hire for VP.

The biggest flaw with Kelly is we'd be removing an incumbent from the Senate and having to defend his seat in 2026 and 2028, instead of just 2028. At a time when we're going to need luck to hold the Senate, that's not a risk we should be taking.

I’m fine with Walz and his Warren Buffett look.

If the VP pick and the convention don't give the Democrats a big bounce in the polls over the likes of Donald Trump, this country is so screwed up it's pathetic.

Absolutely the best pick she could have made, props to Kamala and her staff for making this selection. Eons better of a VP running mate than JD Vance, Walz is going to eviscerate him in the debates.

I don't know a lot about him but folks from Minnesota were hesitant to want to share him with the rest of us. Sounds promising

Kamala has clearly been reading my posts about vibes based politics. Congrats on keeping the vibes going by selecting Wholesome Midwest Dad that doesnt make Democrats want to fight each other.

Very progressive and doesn’t have any baggage (that we’re aware of) that the right can use ammo on him for. Also served in the military and is very pro worker and has also been the one responsible for the weird attacks on the right that are working wonderfully. Absolute grand slam choice.

He's not particularly progressive himself, he just didn't do that Democrat-brain thing as governor where you try to gain respect from Republicans or centrists by shitting on progressives or vetoing their bills. I suppose for some people that will still make him Trotsky or something.

He’s more progressive than most but not to the point to where you could call him extreme in his views. He strikes the right balance for the party and has that chill dad vibe that will resonate with young voters.
