Florida’s Zyon Pullin has signed a two-way NBA contract with the Miami Heat after going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft.

The 6’4, 206-point guard averaged 15.4 points, 4.9 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game in his lone season with the Gators, earning a 2024 Coaches First-Team All-SEC bid for his efforts in Orange and Blue.

In a different thread I said that some of Condon's game reminded me of Kevin McHale (footwork) and I also said that if he ever became 50% of the player that McHale was it would be awesome. I wasn't saying that Condon would become another McHale or even close to that. I saw McHale play live in college and it was totally unfair to anybody trying to play him one on one in the post. Extremely physical and extremely skilled is a great combo. Kids that want to play in the low post need to watch him and learn what he does. He may not have invented the up and under move but he really perfected it. I remember Da Meat Hook getting interviewed when he played here and the interviewer just assumed that he patterned his game after Sir Charles. Dimitri said "No" and that he patterned his game after Kevin McHale.

In a similar vein Pullin's game reminds me a lot of John Stockton's game. Both really valued the ball, were very patient running the offense, would probe for weaknesses and if left open would take the open shot as a third or fourth option.

Of course it helped John that Malone was a guy to pass the ball to.

Please don't think that I am saying that Pullin is the second coming of John Stockton. He isn't. But Pullin is a damn fine player.

ZP got 22 minutes in today’s summer league game. Didn’t get a chance to watch highlights, but hope the minutes continue for him.

Congrats to Zyon! Well deserved and I'm glad UF could be his spring board to the NBA!

Hopefully, Zyon ends up with a two-way contract, but an Exhibit 10 contract is not much to write home about.

The writing was on the wall when he kept getting fewer and fewer minutes throughout the summer. Still was a great Gator IMO.

No worries, he'll make really good money somewhere, and get to see the world while doing it.

He currently is on an Exhibit 10 contract, which, basically, is an invitation to camp. If he plays well, it could lead to a 2-way contract.
