Appears that way. However, the surrounding countries are still emptying their embassies and closing their airspace at night. Nobody is out of the woods yet, but time helps clear the path.

No doubt and I do believe it's coming. Somebody in Iran just figured out it's not a great idea to launch a big attack and give your opponent the exact specs as to time and date, etc ahead of time.

Over history, direct U.S. involvement in a ground war has generally favored the incumbent. However, I don't know that we'll see U.S. boots on the ground before November. A lot would have to happen to get to that point. In the greater context of what we have now, as it appears to be a further escalation of what's already been going on for the past 10 months, I tend to think that reflects badly on the current administration. Also, it's very easy for Trump to point out the administration's mistakes in handling Iran the past 3 and a half years. IMO, a war in the ME hurts Harris. The optics are that the administration have been playing a game of chicken with both sides instead of managing the situation with a clear cut strategy.

Plant multiple devices with either facial or voice recognition to trigger the device? So the Iranians have the other 2 devices to study the tech?

Iran getting their shit together it feels like. Some worries out of Israel I have picked up on: this will be a multi-day attack in which Iran understands their initial onslaught will be almost completely intercepted, but the mission is to wear down the Israeli air defenses so that in days 2, 3 and 4, some rockets, missiles and drones penetrate and make contact with their targets. Also some concern expressed that in essence, Israel has greenlighted a three-pronged attack from Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas at the same time, which heightens the overall security risk.

Of course, Israel will respond and if targets inside Israel are indeed hit, that will likely put the impetus on a sufficient retaliation by the IAF and IDF. Long story short, I can see now why everybody and their cousins are telling citizens to flee Lebanon at all costs.

Israel, if we believe her “leaks,” will be responding with shock and awe aimed at Iran’s nuclear production facilities. It will be a significant response. Both sides are sable-rattling in tones not heard in a long time.

That's definitely what they need to do. It will make it more difficult (I would think) for other Arab nations to jump on board against Israel if Israel keeps its extensive bombing campaign focused on Iran's nuclear facilities. The Saudis would be pretty jubilant about that, I would have to think. Of course, Iran will hit back again and it'll be war. Cleaning my butter popcorn machine as we speak..

Israel sending jets over Lebanon and having them break the sound barrier..sending a message...don't f around, you won't find out

also, Jordan told Iran that it would shoot down any missiles in their airspace

Panic in Beirut as Israeli warplanes break sound barrier three times (msn.com)

Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier three times over Beirut in less than 30 minutes on Tuesday, leading to loud booms that sent people in the city running for cover just ahead of a speech by the head of the powerful Iran-backed group Hezbollah.

Israeli warplanes flew low over the Lebanese capital, with witnesses saying they could see the planes with the naked eye. The booms were the loudest heard in Beirut in years.

One Reuters reporter saw people at a cafe in Beirut's Badaro district scatter as the sound reverberated through the city.

Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was set to begin an address at around 5 p.m. (1400 GMT) to mark one week since the killing of the Lebanese armed group's top military commander Fuad Shukr in an Israeli strike in Beirut's southern suburbs.

killing that guy may have had dual goals, take him out, provoke Iran to respond to give Israel reason to drop some bunker busters on those nuke facilities and hit enough IRGC facilities to set them back decades and sink what little bit of Navy Iran has

If Iran is stupid enough to launch a real attack, Israel is licking its chops to rain hellfire on Iran

Israel on brink of launching all-out war with Iran 'within hours' as expert issues major warning (msn.com)

Israel is reportedly on the brink of launching a major offensive against Iran, with a Middle East expert suggesting an attack could be imminent.

Tel Aviv is poised to "cut the head off the snake" in Tehran, along with its network of proxies, according to Dr. Anahita Motazed Rad, as they gear up for a potential strike that might spark a full-scale conflict.

Iran’s leadership has to be listening to this. Regardless of what anyone’s views are, when the United States threatens to dismantle your political system, you gotta look at the record and take those words seriously.

“The United States has sent clear messaging to Iran that the risk of a major escalation if they do a significant retaliatory attack against Israel is extremely high,” said the official.”

“Those messages have also put Tehran on notice “that there is a serious risk of consequences for Iran’s economy and the stability of its newly elected government if it goes down that path,” the official added.”

was just coming to post this. Iran doesn't want to be embarrassed and they know that Israel is itching for Iran to give them a reason to drop a bunch of bunker busters on their nuclear facilities and destroy whatever navy and airforce they may possess. still think the assassination was a just a bait hoping they would bite

put the IRGC in disarray and feed the protestors and get rid of the leadership that most Iranians do not want

The Israelis have the capability to destroy every single strategic site in Iran inside 12 hours and the Iranians know it. Then they spend the next 12 Hours on oil infrastructure and the entire county would be devastated within a day. All without a single Israeli soldier firing a rifle nor a single tank in Persian territory. I’ll be shocked if the Iranians escalate more than a few targeted attacks of which most will be defeated/ intercepted. They want no part of an elevated conventional conflict with Israel.
