Just a matter of time before the Colorado program either implodes or blows up. Sad that young men have to endure that kind of treatment.

I definitely had my concerns when we took him but he’s a gator and I’m fully behind him now. Dion is a shit show no doubt. Any kid that goes there gives me concerns. What parent would send their kid to that trash.

Once again the sports media deserves some blame. When Sanders was hired at CU it seemed like the 2nd coming. I have always been a wait and see individual. Now it looks like some people are peeking behind the curtain. I hope the SEC is watching and realizing that this is SOP for the Noles. No way do I want them in the SEC. Let FSU and Clemson fight it out in the Big 12 title every year.

I’m not one to encourage frivolous lawsuits, similar to the BS one encouraged by UGA. But if the environment created and very publicly so by the CEO of the Colorado program was such that the work environment was not only hostile, but also cost Cormani money, wouldn’t he have an excellent opportunity to take them to the cleaners? Athletes are now employees if I understand correctly, so standard harassment laws should be in effect. FTR, I never thought that tiger changed his stripes.

Same folks that will scoff at anonymous sources and bemoan fake news stories from the media, suddenly puts all that to the side as soon as the target is Deion. Typical LOL

    I totally agree with you!

When Dion Sanders retired from the NFL after the 2005 season, he spent the next 15 seasons with the NFL Network. He left after the 2020 season over a contract disput. He also spent some time coaching at the highschool level.

While at the high school level, Sanders encountered some difficulties that for some reason did not get much media attention. At least one of these difficulties appears to be an omen of what was to come at Colorado.

I lifted this item from WIKI:
"While continuing to work as an NFL analyst, Sanders became the head coach for the Prime Prep Academy, which he co-founded. The executive director of the school twice tried to fire Sanders, in one instance after witnesses said Sanders grabbed a school official by the collar, causing the official to fall to the floor. He stayed as the head coach for 2012 and 2013. The school was shut down in 2015 amid a spate of problems.
In 2015, he was hired as the head coach for Triple A Academy, where he was the coach for two seasons.
In 2017, he became the offensive coordinator for Trinity Christian High School giving him the opportunity to coach his sons Shilo and Shedeur Sanders, along with his eldest son Deion Jr."

I wonder how many incidents (like the one above) occured during Sanders term at Prime Prep Academy? Was there there a pattern there as well at Trinity High School and Jackson State?
