Well, I probably do suck, and I agree that a debate isn’t the best way to decide. However, that doesn’t mean that debates are without any value. I’m not undecided between Trump and Harris, but I am still deciding if I find Harris acceptable and feel a debate would help.

I agree, Biden knows and understands the real issues and lives in a place called reality. Unfortunately, he isn't very good at public speaking and regurgitating statistics.

Trump on the other hand has no grasp of the real issues, and lives in an alternate-reality. But he is really good at telling lies and bullying. He doesn't need statistics because everything is "the worst" or "the best" ever depending on which makes him look better.

So his followers line up at the trough to be fed his constant endless stream of BS.

Voters have forgotten about the debate. Just like they forgot about all the outrageous stuff trumph has done and said. He needs to debate her on the 10th on ABC. If he wants hugs from Fox, I'm sure she will oblige.

Just curious, I didn't mention "trump" in my description, is it just me, or does AI recognize trumph in that description?

No, I added the trump part.

That would have been funny if it did though.

They havent forgotten. They may have dismissed it as irrelevant given the change.

But if Biden was still in, dont think for a minute the voters would forget.

"People are telling me about the rigged AI. Very bad, this AI. Everywhere we go everyone tells us, sir, this AI is out to get you, its out to get you, and I say we will stop it. The rigged AI will be stopped and we'll make the Google pay for it. Okay?"

That's why he stepped down. There was a lot of concern for more debate type stuff to keep it in front and center of the voters. Now however, I've seen ( although anecdotal) Haley supporters who are moving to Harris because she is young and can "put two sentences together".

We have short memories as a country.

She literally just "secured" the delegates for the nomination two days ago. She's not in a position to be calling the shots for the debate. Trump is making the correct strategical move here. Worst case scenario, she can't play the "he won't debate me" card. If Kamala caves on the Fox News debate, it'll look good on Trump. I think she will or if she doesn't, it'll backfire on her, because why not debate him on Fox if you're the superior choice? You told us your boss was the superior choice for months and that was obviously an epic fail, so prove to us you can beat Trump in a debate. Trump only loses by caving to her.

Lol... question of what? That you let the hit-pieces rule this forum. I can see if these Trump hit-pieces are policy related issues, but many of them are just smear posts have nothing of value conducive to carrying on a cordial conversation or debate, because they have no real political substance to begin with.

You can make this place great again, if you want to, Tilly. Lol... ;):D

Lol... "who post stuff that gets proven wrong?" Like the Dems telling us about our economy being great? Yeah, the Dems are not immune to these anomalous statements.

He's really not. Biden is old and a stutterer. This makes him mix up names and garble sentences sometimes.

Trump is going through dementia. The garbling of words, ideas and people at his rallies are pretty bad and getting worse.

Plus, he would be Biden's age in year 3 of a 2nd term. He will be a drooling houseplant by then.

I agree that this was a good move for Trump. He would have looked very weak to refuse to debate Kamala outright. That said, I don’t see how this looks worse for Kamala. The following is an identical mirror statement to yours: “why not debate her on ABC if you’re the superior choice?”

If she pulls ahead in the polls he’ll look like a moron for not debating her. I dont blame him for avoiding it though. It likely would be all downside.

It's a virtual push if they both refuse to capitulate to the other and have no debates. Although I will say, Trump did one debate, crushed his opponent so bad that he had to drop out of the race. Trump is a known quantity. Harris hasn't debated at all and she's not the known quantity that Trump represents. So it could have a net negative effect on Kamala if she refuses to debate Trump outright. But I'm okay with saying it'd be a push if there are no debates between them.

At some point, however, Harris is going to have to do interviews and take questions. She's not going to win this by avoiding debate, interviews and questions from the press. I have more faith in Americans than to let her win this election without winning a primary, debating, answering questions. And that seems to be her current strategy. The sugar high is going to wear off. It always does.

Agreed. I know quite enough about Trump. I want a debate to see Harris, and I will be quite annoyed if she manages to get to November without having to defend her vision.
