Pretty bad on camera? Compared to DJT? Looked at any of Harris' recent appearances or just watching edited supercuts? I challenge the naysayers here to watch her recent speeches to the Sigma Gamma Rho sorority convention, the American Federation of Teachers conference or the Atlanta rally. Yes, actually watch. You might just get a glimpse of what people are enthused about.

And as far as "declined" candidates go. get real. DJT has absolutely no business running for office again. Too old, too mentally unstable, too toxic, too stale, too corrupt, too WEIRD.

The shame of it is, Repubs had multiple chances the last 3+ years to turn the corner and move away from this guy. Excuse the idiom, but your chickens really have come home to roost. and not in a good way for the GOP.

Trump is a showman, he’ll do fine in a debate with all the lies and exaggerations.

But he has to stay as far away from the WH as possible. The way he treats America’s allies is disgusting. Thanks to Biden’s diplomacy skills he convinced several allies to facilitate the release of the American prisoners.

Trump would’ve traded Ukraine and the security of America’s allies to get the deal done with Putin.

 

What I would like to see is a no-moderator, no questions, just let the two candidates go at each other.

Each gets 3 minutes to say what ever they want (with their opponents mic turned off), then it flips to the other person where they get 3 minutes, and back and forth.

Moderators can inject bias into the debate by which questions they ask, and how they frame those questions.

Essentially, that is how Trump operated in the last debate. Never tried to answer a single question asked of him, just went into his pre-determined lies and attacks.

 

Most politicians are just going to pivot from the actual question…they all get to their talking points even when it has nothing to do with a mods question.
All of them do it. It’s only frustrating if you expect them to be honest. They won’t do it.

I didn't vote for Biden. (I abstained from a potus vote.) And i dont blame anyone for his health, but there have been some things come out that make it seem they have been keeping it under wraps, but even then my issue is that they are now trying to play the high road game.

Truth is no party has any high road anymore. So when anyone claims it, I find it laughable.

You should review the parable Jesus told of the Good Samaritan. Review the historical context of the people who did not help an injured Jewish man and why a Samaritan (who was a hated person to a Jew) was willing to lend aid anyway. A river divided them but a bigger theological "border" also divided them.

And before tou claim that these were "legal" immigrants, you have no basis for that. Jesus NEVER one time, EVER used any such criteria.

Borders are man made inventions and to attribute any teaching about them to God is theological false and purely made up nonsense.

For the record, it wasn't fear of losing .... it was fear of a 2nd Trump term. Many of us were very VERY fearful of what would happen to our country if Trump were to be allowed back into the White House.

Yep. A second Trump presidency would be the worst possible thing that could happen to this country. Two totally different situations.
