It might be instead of some calculated reason for Trump backing out, he’s just too lazy. From what we’ve seen prepping for debates is hours of practice, staging and tiring. They listen to experts telling them what they’re doing wrong. And during the debate they follow (mostly) rules from moderators and it’s structured. Plus the organizers are a group that isn’t fawning over him. Does all that sound like Trump? To his defense he is 78 and understandable slowing down, not in great shape or as sharp. Trump is basically doing what he wants, golfing, hanging out at mar-a-largo, headlining rallies and receiving adulation.
Another in a continuing series of bad moves by Trump. There is no reason not to and the fact is the American people deserve to have the two candidates debate at least once. At the least, it would be must see TV. Trump being the idiot he is against Harris, who in unrehearsed settings speaks in circles and still has that nervous giggle, would be far from the best debate ever but it would entertaining as heck.

Absolutely nowhere in those links does she ever say anything close to what you claimed: "no one should even celebrate Christmas until all illegals are made citizens." She didnt come close to saying that. She was very specific. "all illegals" is not what she said. The immigration battle is a worthy one, but we dont need to make stuff up to fight it

I mean, you are literally putting words in her mouth. At no point did she even remotely mention "all illegals". When you make stuff up, you instantly undermine your point and lose credibility. It's why people become dismissive. I thought it was a weird, even fake outrage on her part, let it stand on its own. When you make stuff up it takes away any validity to the point.
To those trying to understand my point...here ya go. You guys kept a declined candidate in much longer than you should have. You then got scared when it became public. You are in no position to talk like this. Both sides are being strategic. The left gave Trump the upper hand in this matter by pulling the plug on Joe at such a late hour. You got your debate, now just be happy.
The lying felon claims a conflict of interest with ABC as his rationale, but how is that possible since he agreed already to debate on ABC in early May after he'd already filed suit against them in March?
I know if they would only let the democrats hold a debate with every condition being of their candidates choosing. But that never happens.
