I actually have to defend Vance here. It has long been a biological puzzle why an organism would ever far outlive its reproductive years, as it would seem to have no way to pass on its genes for this trait. The grandmother hypothesis is likely the most popular explanation for this problem.

 

You should have left Vance hung out to dry where he belongs as this is nonsense. Between this BS and his cat lady crap, he seems to be of the belief that every lifeform on the planet is here for the sole purpose of reproduction. In his case that might actually be true as he doesn't appear to have much actual use or value, but his genetic material must be seriously flawed. I know if I were a woman and I learned I was artificially inseminated with Vance's special "sofa sauce", you couldn't get me to the nearest abortion clinic fast enough.

But your vehement criticism made me listen to the audio clip for myself. It is an odd clip, but for surprising reasons. One, there are two people talking for two minutes, where one person talks the entire time, and the other gets in maybe two statements. Those statements are the two quoted in the tweet. So either 1) Kamala HQ mistook which voice was Vance’s or 2) it has inexplicably linked two minutes of talking from an irrelevant stranger.

Two, Kamala HQ doesn’t even properly quote this person who is being talked over. Here’s the full quote, emphasis mine: “That’s the whole purpose of the post menopausal female in theory.” It’s clear the person is describing evolutionary theory.

Three, and this is maybe the weirdest part of all, most of the talking explains how the universal monetizing of transactions can destroy the more human interactions we enjoy. @wgbgator himself couldn’t have been more eloquent explicating the evils of capitalism. So if that person is Vance, not only didn’t he say the two statements quoted above, but I think the clip should in fact garner him respect among liberals.
