I believe they're attempting to claim Khelif is intersex and not transsexual. I'm not really sure how that changes anything?? The IBA banned Khelif for a reason. Testosterone too high and XY chromosomes. (ie not a female)

There is no substantiated claim that they have failed anything other than a testosterone test. The official claimed they passed a genetic test but hasn’t produced it due to confidentiality claims. No one likes cheaters but they passed this time.

I posted this in another thread, but Polish runner Ewa Klobukowska passed the original gender tests in the 1960s, which was getting examined by a panel of doctors naked. When chromosome tests came around, she failed, and was banned from sports and had her medals stripped. So she got married, gave birth to children, became a mother. Seems like woman to me. They eventually gave her medals back.

Maybe her questionable genetics made her a better athlete ... but what does that mean? Should we ban basketball players because their genetics make them really tall? Rumors that Micheal Phelps has the genetic anomaly Marfan's, which explains his huge wingspan and might provide for some unusual movement in his joints ... is that cheating?
