How long until JD Vance drops out?

I didn't think Vance was a bad option given the popularity of his book, his military service, and his apparent ties with the tech bros and wealthy donors like Peter Thiel. I do recall reading about Vance's only election (in 2022) in which he under-performed relative to other Republicans in statewide races. Some of that may have been attributable to Tim Ryan being an above average opponent. I suppose it's also possible that there is something about Vance that has turned off a portion of voters - even before Trump picked him and before many of his quotes became mainstream knowledge. To me, the reactions to his statements and his public performances since the convention have also underscored that Trump has a unique ability to benefit from saying offensive things, and that's not an easy thing to imitate on a national level.

 

Theoretically, Vance could save the ticket by turning into a black woman.

It appears to be working for Kamala.

This guy has absolutely no charisma and will get embarrassed on a national debate stage against anyone Kamala picks as her VP running mate. Trump’s bid to get back into the White House gets dimmer by the minute.

LOL. And what, exactly, did your "warrior" do in Iraq? Public Affairs section of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing dealing with the media. Now, we all understand those press conferences can get a little testy, but to equate that with combat service is a disservice to our actual combat veterans.

No i got it, you just should have used a different example than trying to invoke his military record - it was kind of a layup. The couch thing is about as relevant as Harris’ laugh or dating history… so apparently it’s very relevant.
