Because it’s the Dems spouting off at every rally about the color Harris’ skin and heritage. Oh wait …

Yep, we're all just racists. Now, what do you say if I was black? Pls address your reply as if I was Candace Owens just to pick one example.

Isn't there some rule on this board about personal attacks like this? I have no problem with challenging anyone's opinions, arguments, etc. However, you are openly accusing me of being the one thing in our society that is unforgivable and nearly impossible to rehabilitate from despite it being wholly baseless.

If you want to amend your post, here's your chance. Otherwise, I'm more than happy to compare life story, education, degrees, travel, friendships, accolades, community volunteering, etc. We may find commonality and we will likely find differing political beliefs. To me, that is fine and good. But in the end, I doubt you will ever reform your ways of simply calling people racist because they disagree with you.

I’ve said the same thing many times. I don’t think he is a racist, or an anti-Semite, or the like. Heck, I don’t think he cares that much about anyone or anything, other than himself.

But, he is an ENABLER of racism, anti-semitism, and the like. He had the opportunity, time after time after time after time during his Presidency, to directly renounce such hate groups. But EACH TIME he chose a different path. And that bred a growth in hate groups because their actions were deemed acceptable by the sitting President of the United States.

LOL! Because Obama's birth status was publicly known and Donald Trump is a racist clown that doesn't warrant a response?

Here's a hilarious summary of Trump's birther bull***t. What a sad, sad man. (That you spend much time defending, lol.)

    Black people can't be racist?
    I had no idea.
Also, I said racists love Trump. That doesn't mean if you love Trump you are a racist (but there is certainly a lot of overlap.)

Funny. Trump being a POS birther is somehow Obama's fault. His supporters will do wondrous contortions before they admit the obvious.

Mind boggling isn't it? Trump lies non stop....and somehow the responsibility to disprove the lie falls upon the person he tells the lie about? A person could spend every waking hour just pointing out the falsehoods.
And yet no maga ever seems concerned about his tax returns, his beautiful healthcare plan, any of the garbage he spews. It's just on to the next lie, or revisit the old standards he regularly rolls out.

He lost the black vote (or the majority of it). You were probably not offended because (I'm guessing) you are not black. The black journalists were clearly offended and viewed him as a liar. And this display was another bit of evidence that Trump might be a racist, or an idiot. All I can say is I hope he keeps doing this all over the country with all kinds of focus groups. He'll never be able to offend his hard-core fans enough to lose their vote, but he can't win with only their vote.

I don't think he had the black vote to lose and the people there were unhappy he was even allowed to be there for the most part.

This just in: in addition to screwing up the discussion with the black journalists, Trump apparently also "crapped the bed", according to a conservative commentator, who is not sure if Trump will change the sheets or roll around in it. Apparently, Trump is having a bad week. A horrible, no good, very bad week. It could be his vanity that is preventing him from wearing his adult diapers like he is supposed to.

While this is likely true, there is still about 10% undecided out there, many of whom were "double haters," meaning they disliked both major party candidates. A large portion before Biden dropped out were African Americans. They are flocking towards Harris, and could swing the vote to her in places like Georgia and Pennsylvania. Many of the double haters were likely going to not vote at all, or possibly vote third party in protest. Trump yesterday did nothing but encourage more double haters to vote against him with his crassness and racism.

I can't speak to what's in Trump's head or heart. All I can do is evaluate his words and actions.

You are assuming he has a strategy. He is like one of those hollywood actors who can only play one character, but enough people love the character that they can have a viable career.

Trump isn't following any kind of strategy. He is just going out there and winging it every night, and enough people love it that he won an election for president, and almost won a second, and is polling well going into a third. The fact that he has been so successful does not reflect well on we the people.

I'm starting to feel optimistic that in just over three months from now this country is going to have Donald Trump out of its hair. Oh, he will claim again that the election was stolen, of course, and his cultists will bitch and moan, but I doubt seriously that they will again attack Capitol Hill or try to get a civil war going. It will be over. To paraphrase John Lennon, imagine all the people living without Trump!
