He so badly defeated Biden in that debate that it ended the 51 year political career of as some on here call him the sharpest and greatest President of the modern era. Yet somehow he is afraid to debate Harris who has demonstrated no ability to discuss anything of substance, will not take any direct questions from the media and who continues to lie about her positions on things like fracking, the border etc.
Trump was a disaster as well, lol - don’t get it twisted. He’s just lucky that Biden was so far into mental decline that it overshadowed his performance. Unless you think all the lies he told means he did well. Confidently lying does not mean you did well, lol. Get him up there against a former prosecutor who will call him out on everything and not let him lie blatantly and it’s a totally different story.
So Harris changed her position on fracking. When it comes to flip flopping she doesn't come close to Trump. You gets points for showing me that you’ve been against Biden for a while. You may have been the lone voice of reason in the wilderness. Mind you I don’t look at every post from every poster in every thread. The overwhelming general consensus from the left until the debate was Biden was great. Similar to the majority of the right leaning posters who still like Trump. It is hard to know for sure who really is left or right though.
Thanks - I do not, however, think there was an overwhelming consensus in favor of Biden if there was another choice. Sure, dems supported Biden because he's the guy and the the other option was/is Trumph. The incumbency kinda forced dems to back their guy in lieu of another viable option. Now that there is one, dems will back Harris, including those who were previously critical of her.
I don’t know anyone who thought Biden was “great” if you exclude the sarcastic “diamond Joe” comments. I thought he was more or less the same as when he ran in 2020. The debate showed that was clearly not the case.

Rick. Are we to assume that agenda based interviews like this are showing us everyone and there is no chance they are just showing us what they want us to see? Remember those Jay Leno ("Jay walking") interviews that allegedly showed us how stupid people have become? Truth was the dumb people were the extreme anomaly. But they were the only ones that made it on TV. It gave the perception that all his interviews were dumb people. Almost everyone else was smart and this didnt fit the comedy bit.
I'm not sure if she was a Trump-ite or not, but she still looked stunned at the lopsidedness of her small sample poll... By the way, they didn't look dumb in my opinion... and they certainly did not look as dumb as our college students did when Jessie Waters was doing those college campus interviews and polls.
I love the way Republicans who wouldn't vote for Joe Biden under any circumstances are complaining about the way Old Joe was unfairly forced out after winning the Democratic primaries, essentially the same posters who complained about the way the DNC screwed Bernie Sanders in 2016. They expressed the opinion the Bernie was unfairly treated while continuing to post extremely disparaging comments regarding the old socialist at the same time.
