Yep. I was made aware of this meaning of the word later in life but it was a commonly used term and wasn’t seen as a bad thing in Jamaican circles. I suppose depending on the way you used it it might have offended, but it was very typical to use coolie as a physical description with no disrespect intended or received.

Once an allegation is made it cannot be take out of the universe. "I believe so-and-so touched me inappropriately in high school; but, but, I cannot be sure...." Sure - and so-and-so's life is never the same.

It doesn't prove that she is black. The only race listed on the certificate is Caucasian. "Jamaican" is not a race.
