I don’t know that it was the bullet or some type of fragmentation/shrapnel. But I’m not sure of the fascination with proving it wrong one way or the other.

Either way it was very obviously a superficial scratch at best. If it was a bullet it barely knicked him. If it was a fragment it barely knicked him. Either way he was shot at and inches from being far more serious.

No clue why the photographer would be banned for this.

 

It was magically healed by the Almighty.

Also, don't overlook; it's really nice to see Elon Musk so forcefully enforce the rules of Twitter. He's the best.

 

I think this is a nothing burger - the bigger story to me is twitter banning the guy for posting it.

FWIW, Pete Souza wasn't banned. He voluntarily deleted his account because he said the comments turned ugly.

I'm still willing to believe this was done by Trump for a campaign bump. However, letting someone shoot in his general direction is a hard pill to swallow.

If it could be proved that Trump's ear injury was faked, the controversy could be the worst thing since the War of Jenkin's Ear.

 

I am pretty sure it wasnt Trump's plan to have a 20-year-old who couldn't shoot well enough to make his high school rifle team graze his head from 150 yards away from a roof, through some trees and wind. Even the righties would have trouble selling that to themselves and theyll believe anything.

 

Once you don't believe his head was grazed by anything other than flying debris of some sort, believing the rest gets easier.
