Im a Repub and I can’t stand him but the thought of voting for anything the Dems have to offer makes me ill. I think I’m in the majority of Republicans

MAGA is the Tea Party. There is no such thing as an extreme MAGA. If Make America Great Again is extreme, the more extreme the better.

    Sarcasm.

That leaves you to a wasted vote on a 3rd party candidate or not voting. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes.

    Nah, that's not it.

For all Trump's radioactivity, he's viewed as chemo to the leftist cancer we are suffering from.

Perhaps if we tweak your post, and allow that no one in their right mind would voluntarily take chemo if they didn't have cancer, it would make more sense.

Alas....since we have like stage 3 socialista-progressivia cancer of the government, chemo is in order.

    That's why...Trump.

Interesting. This never showed up for me yesterday.

    o_Oo_Oo_O

Here's my response to your concerns vis a vis my Catholicism:

    One: I am not voting for Pope; I'm voting for POTUS;

Two: the question for POTUS isn't who lives closer to Catholicism--it's whose policies and actions AS POTUS--are more consistent and do more to promote or defend Catholic values, vs those whose policies/actions as POTUS are more detrimental to Catholic values and/or Catholicism...

Under that light, Trump > X (where X = Democrat Candy) by a country mile.

e.g.--Trump appointed justices to the SCOTUS who overturned Roe v. Wade. That has been the single biggest issue to the Catholic Church for decades. Meanwhile, Doh! Biden, who purports to be Catholic, has attacked the SCOTUS for their decades overdue correction, and even gone on record as saying he would seek to codify Roe v. Wade, and make it the law of the land.

I could go on, but TBL, it's the policies they promote and the actions they take as POTUS, not their character that concerns me vis a vis my Catholicism.

    This.

Note that to the Dems, daring to not toe the party line--to not get in line behind Doh! Biden, Kacala, or whomever *the Party* taps, = "YOU WORSHOP TRUMP!!!! YOU'RE IN A CULT!!!"

    It's....just....insulting.

And they whine a bloody river when you give it back to them a bit. LOL!

Justifying comparisons between Trump and Hitler this way is sort of like justifying comparisons between me and Michael Jordan because we’ve both said the exact same thing before and we’ve both played basketball.

Interesting post! But in the quote above, who ran against Trump in the primary? He was the sitting President and I don’t recall him being contested at all.

I’ve heard this very point from colleagues all across the Country. And yet, Trump cake walked through the primaries this year. It’s a point that sounds understandable k but facts don’t bear it out. Pubs had a chance to vote in someone other than Trump. But didn’t. And it wasn’t close.

After I posted that I started second guessing myself trying to think if I voted in a 2020 primary and if I had voted for Trump in it or not. I couldn't recall. I figured maybe I missed it or something. Duh, that explains it. It never happened. I imagine if there had been a primary in 2020 Trump wins it running away anyways.

Lol, yep...you forgot "Orange God" or "Orange deity."

Not everyone who votes for Trump worships him as a deity. Some people vote for him simply because they think it is the best vote they can cast for the country.
