Boser's a really nice get. Career .286/.386/.580 hitter, with slugging percentages well over .600 the last two seasons. Has played shortstop, third base, second base, center field, first base, left field and right field in his career.
Boser is the one hitter/fielder I was hoping to get. I get the idea he might be a better than average Nelson Maldonado at the plate for us. He might not have the best numbers but he can hit the ball where needed to move runners but also has power. He gives Sully plenty of options. Now its a matter of how many transfers can come thru for us or how many don't work out. We still need that starting pitcher from the University of WhoKnowsWhere.
We still need that starting pitcher from the University of WhoKnowsWhere. Is there still a possibility that we could get a worthy starting pitcher from the Portal or are they all gone?
There is a huge number of pitchers in the portal, 100+, including several who would contribute good innings for the Gators. The problem is figuring out which ones they are.
Feel like we have a lot of good options for bats and playing the field, but worried about the starting rotation (again). Michael Ross signing hurts (again)
