Sure. Men should play against men. Women against women. If a league wants to set up a coed event. By all means. If there is a mixed event (like mixed doubles in tennis) by all means. But don’t be naive (not saying you but some here). This nonsense is absolutely political and supported by dems by in large. Which allows things like this to happen.

The government won't have to ban privately organized events for allowing boys to compete as girls. The girls parents will redirect their daughter's efforts to other areas of life so as to not have their spirits crushed by a boy masquerading as a girl. You'll just destroy youth sports. I mean, that's what we all want, right? All those high schools and colleges that are binary with their athletics need to get with the times.
I dont think you really understand what binary means if you think trans people should compete separately from everyone else, that would be 3 competitions instead of 2. All this stuff about trans athletes is because sports are attempting to accommodate them within the binary setup of sports. The states or competitions that ban it or dont are all still binary!

If we're being honest, they don't need to have a trans category or competition in sports. No one is going to watch that, pay attention to it or care. And the men competing now as women don't want to be thought of as anything other than a woman. Not to pile on, but your proposal will never work for those reasons. What we really need to do is get back to Biology 101.
