It is really nice up there. Have done a lot of hiking around Apostle Islands and in the Keweenaw Peninsula.

I need to kayak out to the islands one summer. Took the ferry out to Madeleine island once, but haven't seen the smaller islands up close. We enjoyed our time in the Keweenaw peninsula. Reminds a bit of Door County, WI but is even more remote.
