Kamala has never given birth, nor been a mom. Even her stepchildren were nearly grown adults when she stepped into the picture. There is nothing wrong with this in of itself, but I wonder if it will hinder her relatability with mom voters? Probably so in GOP circles, but 90% of women GOP voters weren’t voting for Harris anyway. So the question is, what about Democrat and independent suburban moms?
Perfect messenger for Brat and Gen Z followers. She's spent all her time and political capital informing women how to abort babies.
Why would it hurt her? This post makes no sense. Not everyone wants to have kids and not every woman is able to have kids. This post reeks of misogyny and is disrespectful to all women
She isn't childless. She has 2 children (Cole and Ella). Regardless, I suggest that Republicans keep trying to talk about this.
You think the Democratic Party strategists haven’t discussed this? I think they consider every possible angle of attack they might face.
For the record, I do not believe this disqualifies Kamala Harris in any way from becoming president. It’s really just a question of relatability and electability.
If a serial adulterer and rapist who has five kids with three different women is relatable and electable, then I’m sure she is too.
Okee - This is not a question of relatability and electability. You decided to post, couched in your supposed innocent and "does anyone besides me think" way an idea that touches on a long held societal bias and stigma toward one segment of women. Are you wanting to discuss bias in our society or are you just trolling? Childfree is a choice for both men and women. And by the way, fewer Millenials and Gen Z are CHOOSING to have children. Doubt they really care what others think about it.
I’m just thinking the first woman POTUS is probably going to be a mom. I mean, it just makes sense, right? Add to that Harris’ affinity for killing babies in the womb and I just don’t see that going well on Election Night in the south and rust belt. I reserve the right to be wrong.
I'm really glad you don't think this disqualifies her from becoming president. I'm sure it's very important to her that you feel this way. How YOU feel about this is what matters most though.
Nonsense! It’s a perfectly valid question. As for the answer; I don’t know. My guess that it certainly won’t matter with other childless (by birth) women. It might matter to some other women but it might not. My own guess is that it will not be a big deal. Harris’ history of little to no accomplishment, her general lack of personality, and her ties to the unpopular issues driven by Biden policies are plenty of material to criticize her on and make the case that she would be a continuation of the nightmare of the last 3.5 years. No need to go to places like this that the media will turn Krystal’s into Morton’s burgers.
