Well Dems really shot themselves in the ass by letting 8 million or so illegals in with their open border policies. Now Trump and Republicans can just keep pointing to that terrible policy.
They have and will continue to do so but now they've given Dems a strong counterpoint as an unforced error is my point.
I would think minimum sample size would have to depend on what you are trying to identify but I’m definitely far from an expert in this or statistics for that matter. Like you said, you see them usually in the 1-2k range. I’ll have to concede to him on this matter for sure which is why I asked if 400 is truly a reliable sample size for an election in the US.
Reliability in political surveys is a tricky idea. People's ideas change, the political landscape changes, sometimes the candidates change. I believe a moe of 5% is close enough to be useful.
ya it would just suggest a state like Georgia could go either way which wouldn’t shock me. It’s been very tight for two cycles now.
