Longest Yard is really just preference. I don't mean it's bad, I just feel like it's not in the top 10. For blind side, I just found Bullock's character a pretty annoying trope. I also might just be old but her in Speed and Demolition Man is peak Sandra Bullock.
I wouldn't think so because they are different positions, no? I'm aware it felt like we kind of swapped with Texas A&M when we lost Joe Hamilton and brought in Mark Robinson, but I thought completely different roles. Wonder why Robinson seems to be leaving or looking to leave so soon.
Writer/Director Jim Ferguson was a colleague of mine at Leo Burnett in the early nineties. The movie was expanded from a McDonald's commercial he wrote and had produced. No disrespect but there are a lot of better football movies.
Looks like the NCAA is trying to crash the NIL system. Hoping the clown presidents will just into the arms of the "student athletes should be employees" nut-bar system. At the very least, the smaller schools will be what they've always really been... farm leagues for the big and powerful.
I don't know how I feel about this. The Georgia / Ohio States will have even better signing classes but we should do better in the portal.
Seems that way but how many solid 4 stars would want to be part of consecutive 7 man LB, WR, OL, DL etc classes? The roster has to make sense for the players.
Must just be a preference thing, haha. 29 year old city girl vs 45 year old Texas blond hair sprayed sassy soccer mom. Edit: I will say I immediately regretted to responding to this when talking about football movies on a Twitter thread
I agree she looks better as a brunette. I also agree it’s a corny movie - but hey, she was rockin a nice body. What’s a Twitter thread?
