Vice presidents rarely get much attention. What attention Harris has gotten on the job hasn’t been particularly positive. Counter to the reputation she cultivated early on in the campaign trail as a pragmatic politician and sharp-minded prosecutor, public opinion on Harris soured in the summer of 2021 and has mostly stayed sour.

That was in part thanks to the White House saddling her with a series of unenviable and intractable tasks. Beyond that her role, like that of most vice presidents, has been high on profile, but low on actual responsibility. It’s a job perhaps best described by fictional Veep Selina Meyer as the political equivalent of being “declawed, defanged, neutered, ball-gagged, and sealed in an abandoned coal mine.”

Nor was Harris faring much better with voters in her home state. Last year 59% of California voters in a Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies poll said they would not welcome her on the top of the ticket.

Because of her start in California, I for years called her Kamala "nasty phrase" Harris. The article touches on it without using my less than flattering terminology. I wasn't able to get bedroom photos, but you get the gist.

Clearly, she is the furthest left democrat there was in the senate, even further left than Bernie Sanders who is an independent communist who caucuses with the democrats.

18. Voted twice in the US Senate to defeat a federal abortion bill that would have banned abortion after 20 weeks. Both bills had passed the house but were defeated in the senate. Known as the Pain Capable Child Protection Act, the bill also had the compromised support of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. We came close to having the federal abortion law democrats want now and allowing abortions through the 20th week. That deal will not be seen again. Any compromise at the federal level will now likely be at 15 weeks even if a compromise can be reached.

The only nations to allow late-term abortions at the time Harris was voting no in the senate:

Canada
China
Netherlands
North Korea
Singapore
Vietnam

The United States should never be on that list.

There has never been a clearer difference in candidates than in the 2024 election.

Never in the history of US politics has anyone been further left and out of touch with American values than Kamala Harris.

 

Of course you wouldn't read it. Because of your TDS, you brain is frozen into a mass of close-minded thinking. Carry on.

 

You may as well change your party affiliation presuming you haven't already. From what I can tell, like so many here, you use your TDS as the excuse for your left leanings.

At the very least, you should educate yourself on what you will be voting for come November.

I had to laugh when Chucky Schumer announced his support of the dems' new grassroots candidate yesterday. Kamala Harris has not won even one vote in a democratic primary. No way is she a grassroots candidate.
