I read Vance’s book when it came out. At the time, I liked him. Did he approve of the themes of the speakers at his rally? Probably. Approve of comments calling for civil war, probably not. Demand the idiot that said those things at his rally rescind those hateful words because Vance’s team told him to. Most likely.

But thoughts become words, words become actions, etc. He should have known if any extremist thoughts would become words. From a colleague in his home state…

    Racism.....sexual assault...serial adultery....felony conviction.....enacting a criminal conspiracy to overturn an election......not deal-breakers.

"Weird" is putting it quite charitably.

I agree personally, but a lot of people just believe they (politicians) are all the same. Heck a lot of what you just said is quite Clintonesque and many dont believe he tried to overthrow the election.

But they do not like the leftist direction either, so they hold their noses just like people did for Clinton(s).

(I am on record as saying Bill was a pretty good POTUS fwiw, but he was a sleezeball personified .

    Clinton :

    Felony? no
Serial adulterer? no (at least not as known when votes were cast in '96)
    racist? no
    sexual assault? no
    overturn an election? no

Disturbing that people can be so ignorant as to make such a false comparison.

Umm… the serial adulterer thing was out there when Hillary had to stand by her man. You now have me debating and defending Tilly, which means I have probably spent too much time on Too Hot today.

Is that right? Serial adultery? I'd love to hear you elaborate on this and make that case - maybe I'll learn something.

But I don't think you can.

    You miss part?

Maybe you can shed some light on this. Should be interesting.

Given his time with the Thiel people, who are pretty open about wanting to overthrow democratic governance (small d), I would suggest that he approves of the statements, just not the venue.

Yes, it was well known. The Paula Jones scandal happened during his first term. Some other lady accused him of sexual advances during the 96 campaign. It was no secret that Clinton had a wandering eye.

A to-this-day denied accusation, and an admission regarding Gennifer Flowers does not really make "serial adultery."

If you'd like to see what does, there's an adjudicated sexual assaulter with 25 other accusations who admitted on record that he commits sexual assault.....who is running for POTUS that you can check out.

Serial = "repeatedly committing the same offense and typically following a characteristic, predictable behavior pattern."

Adultery = "voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not his or her spouse."

Hillary comments on Bill's adultery Sunday, January 26, 1992, on 60 Minutes on CBS. I think only three women were claiming they slept with Bill after he took his vows then. Your turn.

I think it's still your turn.

Because you referenced the word "serial" but cited a single known instance.

Did I misread that lengthy article? Did you intend to post more? Are you unsure of what "serial" means?

Jennifer Flowers accuses him of infidelity 1/27/92.

White House Volunteer Kathleen Willey accuses him of SA 12/29/93.

Paula Jones brings lawsuit on 5/6/94.

Let’s get back to more relevant matters, but your turn I guess if you don’t think Clinton wasn’t seen as a (unfortunately somewhat typical) candidate with plenty of affairs.

And not a single day went by without the Pubs doing everything possible to scream the Clinton transgressions at the top of their lungs. They claimed to be the Party of moral decency. And look at that party now-idol-worshipping a morally depraved man that has cheated every day of his life- cheated his wife, cheated his customers, cheated his creditors, and cheated his government.

    What have you people become?!
