You're a bettor who analyzes information, right? Is there anything different about this poll compared to the others that "prove" this is an outlier....maybe something with the timing of when this poll was conducted and significant events that happened between this poll and other polls cited for comparison?

All polling done after the announcement, too. There had been some polls that were worded like, “if Biden were to drop out, and Harris were to replace him, … “ which Harris was lagging in. And there are a lot of reasons why people, especially Biden supports, might say no on a question worded that way.

But this is different, now that Harris being the candidate is the reality, former Biden voters are showing support…

So what were the results of the other polls that were conducted after Biden announced that he wasn't running for reelection and she became the presumptive Democratic nominee? Hint: There aren't any or at least any that have been publicly released.

By the way 538 gives Ipsos a rating of three stars out three stars and a numerical rating of 2.8 out of three. It's rated 17th out of over 277 pollsters. Not too bad for an "outlier".
    Pollster Ratings

It should also be noted that although Rich Baris calls himself the "People's Pundit" he is a writer for the Tea Party Tribune, not exactly an unbiased source.

I'm in this camp. I didn't approve of her VP performance but I'm fully on board now.

Polling is going to be wild for a bit. It’s all a guess until people digest the changes.

Interesting side poll, Harris out kicked the coverage when it came to being perceived as mentally sharp, even some republicans must have given her the edge, here. … over the guy who runs around the country telling people he’s a brilliant Wharton grad …

“Some 56% of registered voters agreed with a statement that Harris, 59, was "mentally sharp and able to deal with challenges," compared to 49% who said the same of Trump, 78.

Only 22% of voters assessed Biden that way.”

Another side poll that is going to send Okee into meltdown mode… RFK Jr in the race is now hurting Trump more than Harris…

“When voters in the survey were shown a hypothetical ballot that included independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Harris led Trump 42% to 38%, an advantage outside the margin of error. Kennedy, favored by 8% of voters in the poll, has yet to qualify for the ballot in many states ahead of the Nov. 5 election.”

Interesting. Not sure if there's much to it, but saw yesterday that RFK, Jr. may be looking for a deal.

RFK Jr reportedly held Trump talks about endorsement and possible job

The independent presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr reportedly held recent talks with Donald Trump about endorsing his campaign for a second presidency and – if successful – taking a job in his administration.

The talks, first reported Monday by the Washington Post, come days after Kennedy publicly apologized for a video posted online that showed part of a private phone call between him and Trump. The clip included Trump sharing his thoughts about childhood vaccines and being in broad agreement with Kennedy, a noted vaccine sceptic. In the video, Trump seemingly invited Kennedy to endorse his campaign.

But the Post reported that it was Kennedy – a Democratic candidate who became independent in October last year – who later sought a post overseeing health and medical issues under any new Trump administration in exchange for his support.

Rich Baris @Peoples_Pundit is the most accurate pollster in America over the last 10 years, per Robert Barnes, the wildly successful political bettor. Both Rich and Robert think 538 is a joke.

Kamala didn't get 1 delegate 4 years ago. I don't care about the timeliness for now Democrats should have figured out what to do with her before getting rid of Biden

And Trump lost 4 years ago, so......what does that have to do with the poll and terrible analysis in the tweet you posted?

weird, there is a quinipeg poll posted in another thread that has Trump beating Harris by about the same margin with the younger voters … makes me wonder if that’s an error….

Youth turnout is gonna be everything. They're talking a big game, but we all know the turnout is generally pretty poor. But I genuinely think 35 and younger are pretty motivated right now

I think she has a hard road ahead of her. She needs to convince the public that she is likable and not as zealously left as she is made out to be. I’m still in the hopeful stage.

I still think Trump likely wins. But it feels far less certain now.
