Maybe you hit the nail on the head. Biden's voice on the speaker phone at Kamala Harris's announcement ceremony yesterday wasn't really Old Joe speaking from Rehoboth Beach, it was a deep fake created using AI.
LOL, I think I'll send Kim Cheatle a request for some Pepsi snacks so I can sit by and watch the dem madness. I guess it will be a few laughs at the typical ridiculous antics and some disgust at their continuing lies, misrepresentations.
Lol, from the fine investigative reporters at "blabber.buzz." Yeah, I wouldn't suggest clicking on that one.
I thought there would be more Democratic in-fighting than there has been (to date at least), but I think robust disagreements within parties, organizations, or even families are sometimes healthy and necessary.
I saw some headline from a right wing source criticizing Dems for being too quick to rally around Harris … saying they were looking like a party where the elite have planned out its future without voter input … no matter what happened, they’d find a way to criticize it.
Agreed. Every time a party disagrees, you can criticize them for in-fighting. Every time they don’t, you can criticize them for mindless conformity. Here they did not really end up disagreeing, but that in itself isn’t a good thing.
I'm frankly flabbergasted by how well its going thus far. I was expecting a full blown shit show. I'm very pleased.
I’ve wondered if some manufactured extended drama wouldn’t have actually been better, keep the headlines on the Dems for the next month, then a unifying convention love fest for Harris …
If only there was a bipartisan Congressional move to aid in immigration that was not shut down by a twice impeached felon....
Damn open borders. Only 2.3 million apprehensions on the Southern border in 2023 and 1.8 million so far in 2024. I guess your definition of open is different than mine.
I would add that the same Border Patrol union that actually endorsed the defeated former president in 2020 supported the bipartisan immigration bill that he shut down.
