FACT FOCUS: A look at false claims around Kamala Harris and her campaign for the White House

 

She's a woman of color. Can't be having any of that!

 

What makes it odd is that both the White House and the campaign have plenty of comms capabilities. Not recording a video statement about withdrawing from the race, and “speaking” at the Harris event via a phone sitting on the podium were both very odd for people that are certainly capable of, at a minimum, setting up a video chat.

 

There are already two out there that the GOP is pushing...

1. Slept her way to the top
2. Not really black (they are claiming she is actually Indian)

 

"Joe is dead" and "JFK, Jr. is alive and well in Pennsylvania" are from the same group!

 

Not to mention his first debate with Joe Biden in 2020 and his victory party celebrating the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett when he was also transmissible and didn't bother wearing a mask. Giving him somewhat the benefit of the doubt for the latter although he was almost certainly symptomatic he wasn't tested until after the party.

I generally like Tucker but agree this is silly. First, how could that possibly be kept under wraps? Second, it would negate two main current conservative thoughts: 1) if he's unfit to run, he's unfit to finish his term, and, 2) if he's fit, then the "protectors of democracy" just kneecapped democracy by disenfranchising millions of primary voters by forcing him out. Both points go away if he's dead.

 

If Kamala was the one calling the shots then she definitely deserves 4 more years. Thanks for the reminder

 

Because she's a woman of color she is by definition unqualified and her entire political career is the result of DEI although ironically the right's favorite Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas actually was a DEI/AA hire.

 

I'd vote for Condoleezza Rice for practically any office she desired. Winsome Sears and Candace Owens for many as well. Common sense and sound policy know no color.

 

He is in Rehoboth Beach. I realize Delaware is small, but that is on the other side of the state from Wilmington, where she was. It is a couple of hours drive away.

I've gone back and forth on this. Selfishly, I don't want her to have the power of incumbency. However, I feel there's a pretty strong chance she would say or do something ridiculous that would show us she's not ready.
