I believe Tank Hawkins is and will continue to be the fastest player on the roster while he is at UF.
yup, and to put it into perspective, comparing to the fastest NFL Combine time in history, he would have the 5th fastest time in history with his 4.25 time and close to top 15 (4.29) with the 4.31 time. VBIII would not be far behind, top 20-25, I'm guessing. Also, top QB historic times has Anthony Richardson at #3 with a 4.43 time. These young men need to lay it down to see who's the fastest as Rainey and Demps used to do
Speed is good. Being able to get open is even better. Can't wait to see how he runs routes in the Swamp.
I don't consider 40 times recorded by high school and college coaches as legit comparisons. Those times rarely hold up when they run at the combine. 100m and 55m times at state track meets are the most reliable standard.
Hawkins is half a second faster than Brown in the 100m. Abrams, Mizzell and Dike are also faster than Brown but nobody's as quick.
You know, I feel like Demps didn’t really go down right away. Plus it was hard to get a good hit on him. Rainey seemed to trip himself up in the open field with nobody around him. I could be remembering wrong though
This appears to be a very nice WR class developing out of HS. Had two speedsters in last years class. Also had two nice portal transfers to address lack of senior talent at WR on roster.
