    Given he is the oldest candidate in history, clearly is suffering from mental and physical decline, and now that Biden dropped out - for the good of the country should Trump drop out too?

    I didn't vote. Trump should drop out but he never will. No matter what Trump can always count on the support of members of his cult and he's hoping to persuade enough uncommitted voters in the swing states to give him an EC victory. Given that an Electoral College victory is the only way that he can end the prosecutions he's never going to drop out.

    Not a single person in this forum believes democrats would have pushed for Biden to drop out if he was leading in the polls.

    Yes, Trump should drop out of the race for the good of the country. It would all but guarantee Republicans the Presidency, the House, and the Senate if he did so. There would be 0 voter turn out for a Harris presidency without Trump on the ticket.

    It would have been easy to ignore the debate, call it a one off, and move on with the known incumbent. GOP has been doing it for 10 years with Trump. Democrats rallied when they thought Biden might not be up to 5 more years and ushered in a replacement. I am proud of their selfless acts to get the best person to run and not the incumbent most likely to win.

    I called for Biden to drop out multiple times prior to the debate, when Biden was up.

    Ultimately Biden did the right thing. Should Trump? Or do you want a fat stupid half dead guy who wears depends?
