You truly can’t take AOC and apply it to all Democrats. I follow her on X and TikTok and she just says shit that is out there all the time.

Legitimate people like Obama haven’t endorsed Harris for very sane reasons. Obama will stay on the sideline until (just a guess) the DNC when he will make an extremely moving speech. Obama is like Trump in the sense that he can fire up his team in a major way, and he isn’t a fool who is going to rush to an endorsement to avoid message board threads like this.

Some world class projection here. You want them to fight. It’s gonna be Kamala and I think it will be done with relatively little drama.

Yep, because Biden running guaranteed them a victory and now their boy is the oldest running candidate in history so now they can’t use all their ageist remarks against Biden and they will now be used against Trump instead.

No worries. With an unlimited number of morons to be patsies, they will just stage another shooting their orange god will again miraculously survive and we shoot another 20 year old retard who can barely hold a gun, let alone make a head shot from 150 yards.

Well they did nominate one, only issue is he had to do an actual debate and when the curtain was pulled back the rest of us saw when many had seen for sometime.

    Adding a significant omitted qualifier.
Obama has not endorsed Kamala . . . yet. He will most likely endorse her by the end of the week and will almost certainly do so before the DNC. Did you complain about the Republican decision to completely cancel several state primaries in 2020? Just asking.

Kind of off-topic and what the Republicans did in 2020 was less democratic than the process with which you are complaining since other candidates could have drawn votes away from Trump in primaries. While it wouldn't have made any difference in the end a sitting president winning a party primary by 70 - 30 margin would look much worse than a victory by proclamation in which he didn't have to run. The reason that primaries were cancelled was to avoid the appearance of opposition to the Dear Leader.

The political parties select their nominee however they choose. They make their own rules. Has nothing to do with Democracy. They aren't part of the government. Same way the GOP screwed over Ron Paul in 2008 because they set their own rules. Don't like it, don't join the party. The histrionics over this is hilariously misplaced.

This is what happened. And once it was clear that the Biden people voted for wasn’t the one they were getting, he was asked to step down. Seems actually like how democracy is supposed to work to me.

Closed partisan primaries are the epitome of democracy, didnt ya know, especially when someone runs unopposed

I am not sure why this very clear point that the parties aren’t a part of government is being repeatedly ignored. If Walmart took a poll from their employees about their next CEO but chose someone different, no one here would be calling Walmart a threat to democracy.

Is this why I can’t get much support for my push to vote third party, because people think the major two parties are government entities?
