Wow, it’s like a who’s who list of far left liberals who thought the opening post was a joke. It’s the absolute truth. Joe, you got 99.9% of the delegates but you got no chance of winning so you’re out. We’re picking someone else. Screw the Democratic process. And they say Republicans are a threat to Democracy! You guys are really sad.

Big donors had already said they weren’t planning continuing to poor money into his campaign.

Let’s be honest he was pushed out, unless you believe God came down and told him to get out.

Funny you say he was pushed out since he was pushed on us without a choice. No mainstream candidate ran against him and the party revolted. 100% democracy in action. Couldn’t be more proud of the party.

I know Trumpers are allergic to facts so this response is of zero surprise.

"Failed business man" and "multi-billionaire" are pretty much mutually exclusive. He was and had been a household name since the 80's. His name appeared on buildings in downtowns throughout the nation ( sometimes businesses paying to have his name on theur buildings). "Reality TV Star" followed his success in business.

He failed spectacularly in a few very ambitious enterprises, but he remained successful. And guess what? Every successful business man has failed along the way. Every success story is peppered with failure. A person as a failure, only applies when the story ends in failure.

    E.g.--Doh! Biden IS a FAILURE.

Those that think Trump actually has a platform to run on are hilarious. All those promises he made in 2016 he broke and he has shown not even an elementary understanding of basic things, but yeah, he’s got such a great platform, lol.

    Trump wanting for a platform???

Here, let me help you out with the agonizingly obvious:

    The fix for Doh! Biden.

    Period.

    Everything else is gravy.

    And you are wrong again!

Your candidate enacted a criminal conspiracy to overturn an election, which included fake elector slates, coercing state officials, coercing his VP, repeatedly and constantly lying in public, and an attack on the US government in which 100s of police were injured.

So spare us your laughable concerns either for Joe Biden, or for democracy. You care about neither.

And spare us the gaslighting- it's little more than telling outright lies. And deserves absolutely no more respect than lying.

Wait hold on, most of your fellow Dems here until the last debate thought he was great, are you now saying you didn’t really want him as the candidate again?

I seem to remember you being a big Biden fan boy, do I have you confused with another poster?

I also think it’s wasn’t quite the “party” revolting but some of the leadership and big MONEY donors pulling the plug.

In fairness and to your point Abe Lincoln had many failed businesses until he went into politics.

    NOT that Trump is Lincoln.

Gotta love the way posters who would never vote for Biden or almost any other Democrat are complaining about the "undemocratic" process that is resulting in the nomination of Kamala Harris. These are the same posters who complained eight years ago that the DNC was unfair to Bernie Sanders another candidate that they would never support. At same time they are all in with voter suppression legislation which they support on the absurd pretext that it would improve election security. They also support a party that cancelled several state primaries four years ago and uses the very undemocratic process of winner-take-all primaries to select its candidates.

Precisely. And you didn't even mention their support for the criminal conspiracy to overturn an election. Hell, they refer to people who assaulted cops and attacked the Capitol as..."hostages."

But we're supposed to take them seriously?

A big challenge these people pose is to the boundaries of civility. Because we've reached the point where we all need to call liars nothing more than liars.

I know nuance can be a struggle for right wingers so I dont know why I would waste my time explaining that everyone felt Biden did a good job in office and was not particularly pleased at 81 years old announced he was running again. They aren’t inconsistent. Inconsistent is seeing the disaster Trump was, hearing him ramble incessantly, and not put together a push to get him out like the Democrats did. Republicans are cowardly wusses who are envious over what the democrats did.

Joe got all those votes because he was unopposed. We didn't even have a primary in Florida.

But, as time passed, it become clear that advancing age had caught up with Biden. It was time to recognize this reality and make a change.
